  1. Great idea Peezy, I'll help $$$
  2. Clearly this isn't a job for amateurs. I've personally procured the professional services of Trixie, and Brown Sugar, from the Pink Pony, for an immediate two on one session with our keyboard Tiger. A private limo will wisk the girls away to the sticks (Lake City) after their fan, feather, and balling ball routine is finished this Friday night at the local gentlemen's club. Man I hope this works.... fingers crossed.
  3. Anybody got an unattached sister, daughter, ex wife/girlfriend, neighbor, or co-worker with a driver's license willing to travel to Lake City and entertain a nice young man who spends way to much time educating lost and confused souls still living in the past. A fund has been set up ( Tiger Greet and Heat ) to help facilitate a bonding of hearts, mind, and body for our north Florida friend who doesn't leave his computer keyboard nearly long enough to expand his possibilities for engagement.
  4. You can bet on it. Since Spectrum gobbled up Brighthouse it's all about the money and recouping their acquisition dollars. Word is the in season football "Game of the Week" is history, along with the channel its shown on. Also feeling the knife cut is high school baseball, basketball, and volley programming, free movie access, and streaming of many ESPN's family of channels above your paid tier are on the chopping block too. When cable giant Charter Communication swallowed the other monster Time Warner and rebranded itself Spectrum we cable subscribers got the shaft. Sound familiar ?
  5. I'll throw gas on the fire. Is there a super team in the playoffs this year ? IMO there isn't. Northwestern was the best in 6A District 16 but not by much. Norland, Central, and Carol City were right there team and talent wise. Armwood has a puncher's chance. They're always well coached, athletic, and don't hurt themselves. 5A might be the only big school cakewalk we see in Orlando. But then again, maybe not. That's why they play the games. See you all at the Florida Championships....old man, white hair, and glasses with a big smile on my face. It doesn't get any better then this weekend...
  6. They rotate Qb's each series. One of them is a stud going to Auburn. Good coaching and have an offense that puts points on the score board. They also give up a lot through the air. They've had a full season to address that deficiency. Don't know if they have....
  7. Have seen you at the table many times, didn't want to bother.....holler at you next time
  8. Yes, 3 picks in the first 5 minutes of the 3rd.
  9. Jam, welcome aboard. Lots of coverage here, low confrontation zone, controlled management.
  10. On TV DP looks like the better, more complete team.
  11. Sharkbait, I'm not going there at the moment, but I feel ya
  12. The worst one sided officiated game I've ever witnessed was the 2007 4A championship in Orlando between Miami's Booker T Washington and Ponte Vedra Nease. The game officials were from the Southeast Association (Panama City). A vastly superior BTW won the game 23-15 but Nease was in it until the final minutes with timely penalties to keep drives alive and flags against BTW trying to extend their lead. Still ticked off the next day, I fired off a blistering email to a high ranking FHSAA official challenging him to view a replay of the game. He assured me that it would be looked into. I think he blew me off, in a sincerely professional way, but it did have a calming effect.
  13. In a playoff rematch with the Chiefs from Miami, the Dade county school put just enough points on the board to beat the home town "good guys" 17-10. CC didn't appear to be as strong as last year, but they got the job done, regardless. Oh well, best team in the county again for the umpteenth time. Congratulations players, coaches and all the behind the scene people who keep this winning thing going. See y'all in the spring......Buc Forever
  14. Some of you grown men need to be taken to the woodshed for messing with that young man...smack, smack, smack
  15. That's a tough one there. They burn them, then celebrate it..... COLD !
  16. I damn sure hope we do. If they play at their best we won't beat'um
  17. You were up "big time" and let them steal it. Can't do that with the Rockets or you'll will be watching the championship
  18. True, the Bulls had fallen off when Mainland was put in your Region-4 in 2011.
  19. The most powerful district (6A-16) in America
  20. I'd say more like "wishfull" thinking. Mainland never beat a Dade till last weekend. An athletic team always has a fighter's chance. See: Sanford/MNW, Douglas/Tyson, Trump/Clinton, Vietnam/USA. Just play'in man..... Good luck to you
  21. MNWBulls, recent history would give the Rockets a slight edge. My Mainland Bucs have been on the losing end to them 5 times in the last 7 or 8 yrs. Earlier in summer word was the Bulls were back and getting big time D-1 transfers. They've had a great season so far. Rivalry games are always tough and unpredictable. I've seen all of Northwestern's title games ( Tallahassee, Miami, and Orlando ). Have also seen all of Centrals too. May the best team win....then lose to Mainland .....living in LaLaLand
  22. That's a football fan with a driver's license (wink,wink)
  23. You love high school football, right ? Many of us, on this board, travel hundreds of miles for good games. Since the start of the 2000 season I've missed only ONE Mainland game home or away. Come on man, you're a fan.... GET OUT THERE.
  24. Oh, I'll be attending Daytona Mainland's victory over Miami Carol City
  25. Get your damn license ColumboFan. There's a big world outside Lake City, teeming with exotic adventure, intriguing situations, and pleasures beyond your comprehension. And not to mention, some pretty good football matches-ups outside of walking distance. Spread your wings son....get out there!
