Unfortunately I won't be in Tally for homecoming this year. @Dan in Daytona better not show up or he may be shooed out of town, LOL!! -

I didn't want to make it blatantly obvious but I'm glad you FINALLY figured it out. You're not old and confused, just BCU (or in your case, BCC) educated which means you are sloooooooooooow, Alley Cat ! -

It was fun, but certainly HARD to focus at times, lol. That women to men ratio of 11:1 was nice, REAL nice (in my Bernie Mac voice). -

A mile is generous unless talking about the distance between FSU and FAMU administration buildings. The actual distance between state owned buildings/properties is closer to a quarter mile at best. Institutional corruption comes to mind. An overall attitude and way of conducting business that is not only anti-productive (sometimes illegal) but fosters a culture where the cycle continues regardless of the president, board of trustees and other administrators. There's a reason why things keep happening beginning with a pattern of checks and balances that are out of whack. Unfortunately, I experienced that first hand back in '05, smh. -

Thanks for that because I wasn't going to dig for it. Something doesn't smell right about that situation but I'll keep my personal opinions out until the REST of the story is revealed. -

It's all good and all in fun. However it's not the stress of P.E. classes, but more so the distraction of other classes. Makes me want to go back, lol. Read between the lines and enjoy! That's only if that BCU education is worth anything. -

I was waiting for you to show up . I can't say a thing. We didn't have those problems when I enrolled 28 years ago. I'm more impressed that FAMU performed better than expected missing that many players. You should be concerned about how fast and hard the Hurricanes are going to toss you alley cats back into the dumpster from whence you came. -

I hope GW returns one day. Although he graduated from Manatee, he grew up in Lakeland and we attended the same junior high back in the day. He would've been at Lakeland had he not moved to Bradenton for high school. He has a wealth of knowledge as most of this family graduated from Lakeland. As most of you already know, he has game tapes on Lakeland for days. Unfortunately, he and his family have experienced severe tragedy over the last year. That coupled with just living life and there's no telling when he may return. I wish him all the best. Regarding the truth, I only speak on things that have a clear cut paper trail (historical) OR things that I have witnessed for myself. These days, very little interaction with the Dreadnaught programs as I'm here in Atlanta and don't follow the program as closely as I did say 10-15 years ago. The last game I attended was Lakeland/Norland in '06 with my wife (Norland grad) if that gives you any idea. I try my best to not repeat items from people who I KNOW are in Lakeland and close to the program. In other words I don't repeat stories I've heard, speculation and hearsay. The only situation I would even mention that I witnessed (in part) is why Lakeland has not scheduled a game in Miami (or S. Fl for that matter) since 1992 but I imagine anyone could figure that one out, LOL. I could post stories all day about how coaches around Polk county have complained about the Dreadnaught program poaching players for decades. I can also tell you (or anyone) that I've heard about some "things" happening at Lakeland before I even got to high school as it was never a well kept secret. The way the game is today with choice, I don't have the time or energy to keep up with that so I don't. Regarding other Lakeland posters, I won't bash them as they support Lakeland, LOL. Whatever their methods are of obtaining info is how they operate. I'm not gonna question it. It's entertaining at the least and even if some things can be debunked, I've seen some things that have turned out to be true. Thanks for the shout out @ColumbiaHighFan2017class

The "Real" Ghostbusters, lol. -

Niceville "SHOULD NOT" have any problems. As others have stated, looooong ride, on top of one of the more hostile stadiums to play in. I don't know how many NMB fans are traveling to this game but from personal experience, the visiting team will need all the support it can get to overcome being damn near surrounded by the home team, LITTERALLY!

When has Florida had a stable population that didn't depend on a boom of some kind or another? Outside of small towns or well established cities that have been around for a long time, a large percentage of the state is fairly new (so to speak). Hell, the population has tripled since the 70's alone. That's a major contributing factor in the lack of community support around the state (with a few exceptions). Florida's migratory pattern is extremely transient in nature. Even with all the growth, what also has to be factored in is how many people leave the state.

Still young humans my friend, but human nonetheless and prone to trash talk. Every behavior is learned. We have a few adults on this board that fall into that category. -
That's a very good question. The season is here and that is noticeably missing, lol.
