Yea their line play will be
-
Their gonna be just as good as last season
-
Octavion Osby he's a solid RB and played LB as well
-
Vero also picked up a great transfer from Palm Bay as well
-
They won't have any issue with Melbourne, Melbourne lost a lot this season from graduation but mostly transfers out.
-
Definitely an improvement

FSU still has some play makers on their team that are rising seniors and Bradford has been doing a lot of talking about how they have something for Cocoa but I don't see it happening. They did get a few transfers there but I don't see them scoring much on Cocoa and Cocoa has a stacked receiving Corp still. Their offensive line and front seven on defense are all returning from last season, so that experience will be key for a dynamic run to their sixth title. Only team that will stop Cocoa in 2S will be Cocoa again. I see them squeaking by both Jones and Treasure Coast in competitive games between 3-10 points spread. The Venice game should be a great game since it's a home game for Cocoa. The STA game will be another learning experience that will help expose where they need to improve. Seminole should be good as well but I see Cocoa getting revenge and pulling away late.

That's the same thing as Cocoa star that just enrolled at OSU as a safety he was the number 1 ranked corner as a freshman and sophomore due to his play on Varsity as an 8th grader freshman and sophomore. But got reranked as an athlete which dropped his overall ranking but he ended up as a 4 star athlete instead of a high 4 star corner or safety. Even Cormani McClain was avoided most games. Alot of the top DBs I noticed play both ways as well. I feel like it's a way to increase game film for them and they are usually the top players on the team and make impact plays on the offensive side as well.

It really just depends on the kid. I know Rockledge has a safety that's a 4 star and ranked as one of the top safeties in the country and his stats don't jump out too much due to teams scheming around avoiding him
-
Everybody knows the answer to that. Only once but there was some wars in that series. But there were plenty of blowouts in favor of BTW but that was always a game penned down as a must see in Brevard
-
Would love to see them have a series with Cocoa in the regular season just for old times sake. Was an amazing semifinal rivalry in the playoffs for about a decade

Looks like Venice got another major transfer from Carrolwood Day https://twitter.com/EliteEmpireATH/status/1671321291670921216?cn=ZmxleGlibGVfcmVjcw%3D%3D&refsrc=email

Charles Lester is a solid receiving threat as well
-
Thanks. Merritt Island is losing a lot of players. I'm assuming Trout is related to the other k/p that transferred to Holy Trinity from Merritt Island
-
Boda is at Coastal Carolina right now but they have a 6'5 sophomore that transferred over from Melbourne. He picked up some major offers over the 7v7 tournaments after transferring to Cocoa and he's goes to the same QB trainer and the rest of the top QBs go to Trujillo. Cocoa has about 7 or receivers they'll be rotating and picked up a second kicker/punter so now they have 2 really good kickers unless the foreign exchange student graduated. Also a few athletes just transferred in as well. Should be a great game and they'll know what they need to improve early since their week 1 game is at the Citrus Bowl (CWS) against Jones.
-
Saw it on Twitter. Defense is gonna be stout. Looking forward to seeing Cocoa's receivers and sophomore QB match-up against the Venice secondary. How are the other 3 to 4 DBs looking for Venice?
-
Nice. I wish I was still in Jacksonville so I could watch this one. Is it a home n away deal like the Cocoa series?
-
Rockledge will be a pretty solid team. Cocoa's rival. Back to being one of the top teams in Brevard and a solid playoff team. I see it being a great game. Do you know if it's home or away for y'all?
-
From what I saw they got a few athletes and defensive players. Defense should be their strong suit this season with the players returning and the younger players coming back with experience. Right now I see it in Brevard as Cocoa and Rockledge as the clear cut top 2. Eau Gallie is making noise from their side as usual with all the offers and rankings they have but their schedule is pretty bad again. I can see Heritage finally making some noise again. I'm not sure if Melbourne will be on the same level as they were last season. Lower classes I see MCC surpassing Holy Trinity but I have both making the playoffs. Playoff teams for brevard will be Cocoa, Rockledge, Titusville, Eau Gallie, Heritage, MCC and Holy Trinity. Teams that may sneak in are Merritt Island, Satellite or Palm Bay
-
They lose their top offensive lineman, a couple DBs and running back. Return quarterback, athletes/Receivers, basically their key contributors on defense including their top linebacker and the #1 safety in the class of 24. I was shocked that this game I'd happening. I know one of the assistant coaches from Duncanville is a Cocoa alum and was teammates with half the Rockledge staff. Don't know how much of a factor that played. But i see it going the same way the Viera v Allen game went. If Rockledge is as good as talks are saying then it could be like the Jones v Duncanville game went.
-
Thanks I see the KOC as a win, with 3 guaranteed wins against Viera, Bayside and Satellite. Guaranteed loss at Duncanville. Other games can go either way from being blown out, to close to barely winning. Looking at some of the teams Seminole is playing I'm definitely looking forward to seeing their full schedule as well. Could be the toughest in the state by the time they have it finalized.
-
Excited for the top teams in Brevard Rockledge can make some noise and be well prepared for the playoffs.
-
From what I saw they may still have that issue and they lose their top OLineman to graduation. He's heading to UF
-
Rockledge lost a few players but also gained a few players as well as a new DB coach in Cocoa's previous DB coach. Who will have a solid DB group led by the #1 safety in the 24 class. So their defense should be pretty solid. But we will see how they fair after that beating they took last season.

Extremely solid schedule. First half of schedule is as tough as it comes for Central Florida and the state. The district games gives time to get recover for a deep run. West Orange being the finale gives a playoff atmosphere type of game.
