I wouldn't necessarily call it recruiting when Blake Boda actually put it out there in an interview his reasonings for transferring and the fact that he actually told his teammate who he played with and against in 7v7 that he was thinking about transferring. That player thought he joking. Yes kids talk but that's nothing new. It's not like there were coaches actively recruiting him and the players weren't even recruitin. They already had a QB before he transferred in.

Josh just posted the schedule for next week tally games and I feel like they got it wrong. 1M is Thursday at 7p 2S Friday at 7p 1S and 1R Saturday at 1pm and 7pm So the 2 games with teams that'll be traveling a good distance and could be decent games will be played on days where there won't be many fans and parents able to travel due to distance and work schedules

The only team that can beat Cocoa in 2S at this point is Cocoa. Out of the 2S teams they've played so far South Sumter scored the most. Cocoa had alot of penalties that game which had fans saying it was Cocoa vs the refs and it still ended up being a running clock. South Sumter fans were confident in the Brevard Sports Network comments and it looks like Bradford is doing the same. I can see FSU making a game for the first half. Being that they basically have home field advantage.

Those are facts. Same thing happen to my alma mater in Rockledge. The city and county as a whole had high hopes of having both Cocoa and Rockledge reaching state for the first time together.

Maybe some of the DFB players brought over some of their culture of the hype they always had with the talent on paper when they were wit DFB and thought that they would be better off grouped with Dillard but fell back into their old routine when the big lights shined on them.

Got more info about the injury. He sustained a fractured femur. From the looks of the broadcast it was really gruesome by the reactions of the players in the immediate vicinity of the player.

Yea these playoffs have been surprisingly alot better than I originally thought they would be at the beginning of the season. May be an outlier season but it looks like the FHSAA can say I told you so for now lol. I've been loving these games. Pine Forest lost. Edgewater pulled off the win. Been alot slugfest. Also with big win by IMG and Buford losing, Miami Central should be a few steps closer to getting that MNC as long as they win out, get a marquee matchup and win in the Geico Series and Mater Dei gets upset.

I definitely agree with you. If y'all are able to score on most of y'all drives then the game will be y'alls to lose. I just see it being a tough game. I'm not sure if the starting QB is back this week but he has an extra day to recover. Their backup is more of a capable QB than their last 2 athletes who were forced into the QB position due to injury but the don't give him too many intermediate or long passes. If their defense can't hold strong then they will be in for a long night

For the teams who play Monday the FHSAA has given the option for those teams to either play their round 2 game on that Friday or Saturday. It's all up to the schools

Rockledge escapes a nail biter with Satellite 13-12. They were without their starting QB. I'm assuming he got hurt in the Cocoa game but he didn't dress for the game at all. Flashbacks of last season if he's not healthy next week. Could be in for a rude awakening.

Tech is definitely doing their thing. The next rounds will be a tough stretch.
