Yea all the reporters from the game including Jon Santucci is talking about it and saying there was no way STA should've even had time to even get the ball back let alone 30+ seconds
Didn’t Coach Schneider or anyone on Cocoa’s sideline try to stop this from happening? The FHSAA needs to investigate this game and if (when,) cheating is found, declare Cocoa the rightful winner and make STA forfeit the game due to a conflict of interest with the GC operator.

From watching the audio cast on BSN it was showing the scoreboard the whole time little to no time was taken off the clock on 2 of the kneels. STA got the ball back with about 34 seconds on the clock
The game clock operator who managed this game needs to be thoroughly investigated and terminated. There was no mathematical way for STA to win if they had no timeouts and Cocoa was in victory formation with under 1:30 to go. Very little time comes off, and then they get a penalty to stop the clock? No conflict of interest there, right? What a sick joke. Forces beyond their control ripped one of Cocoa’s biggest wins in school history right out of their hands and handed it to crybaby STA.

Sometimes Vero plays to the level of their competition and will come out looking like a world beater for an important game
You better bring all you have for Sanford Seminole and TC. Two toughest games remaining.

Both teams are coming off a lost one was lopsided (gibbons) & one was controversial (Dillard) but even before all that I still marked this as a game that will be tough for Dillard to win. Especially after all that we’ve lost.
between the Koc & the first 2 games what I’ve seen from Dillard is that they’re offense is a lot more potent & can score off a big play quicker then they could have in years & the defense is still stout when they’re not force to be on the field for most of the game.
gibbons will be the fav (as they should be) in this game despite them being blown out & held to 4 points last week vs chaminade.
I see this being a good game & even tho Dillard gave Naples all they could handle & was robbed last week @ Naples (in my opinion) Dillard still wouldn’t get this benefit of the doubt this week because they have no signature wins as of late to stand on. Winning this tho would most def be a signature win for a team that was predicted to not even win 4 games after the mass exodus ; so we will just have to see come Friday. GO PANTHERS! @VeniceIndianFan @Jullian @nolebull813
Cardinal Gibbons is not who they used to be. Dillard by 14 or more to get back into the win column!

Why is Skyway reviving a dead thread to prove that Darter was wrong about a game that was played almost 5 years ago? And reacting to one of my oldest comments since I’ve been on this board? Seems kind of petty and far-reaching but whatever floats the boat, I suppose.

Cocoa is going to hammer T coast…
They beat a terrible Osceola team… wait these next few week as they lose to seminole, sta and cocoa
Kissimmee Osceola is eventually going to put everything together and gel. I’m still not ready to count them out in 4S. Don’t sleep on Treasure Coast. Their offensive line is nauseating to watch. Scoring 66 on Jesuit, even if they are heading in the wrong direction, was scary. Only guaranteed loss on that list is STA. Cocoa and Seminole look like tossups.

Chaminade dominates Bergen Catholic.
STA beats Cocoa in a thrilling game.
Treasure Coast beats Seminole in one of the best games of the year so far.
Venice finally puts it all together and finds a way to beat Northwestern.
Bartram Trail beats Daytona Mainland in a shootout.
Miami Central takes out their frustration and beats BTW by 14 or more.
Lakeland puts up a great fight but loses to SJP in the end.
Carrollwood Day finds a way to beat Calvary Christian.
In a game of desperation, Jones beats Osceola by a touchdown.
Clearwater CC beats Tampa Catholic.

I've only had Red Robin once, in 2016 at the Brunswick Square Mall in New Brunswick, New Jersey while visiting family. It was terrific, though!

I wrote this poem last Friday night while enjoying a game. Any perceived slights, omissions or misrepresentations are strictly unintentional. If you’re pressed for time, skip ahead to the last two lines. In the spirit of “Twas the Night Before Christmas”; with apologies to Clement Clarke Moore and Joshua Wilson…
‘Twas the 25th of August, and all through this site
Board members were fired up; it was opening night
The coaches all studied their game plans with care
In hopes a state title soon would be there
The players were all clad in blues, whites and reds
While visions of NIL deals danced in their heads
Me in my team gear, with Momma in tow
Had just settled in for the band’s pregame show
When down on the field there arose such a clatter
I put down my popcorn to see what was the matter
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear?
The head man, with eight assistants pulling up the rear
I looked at the head coach, and thought, oh my gosh
For I knew in a moment it must be St. Josh
Full of bluster and hot takes, his posters they came
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name
Now Icaza, now Dillard, now Darter and KeemD
Now Venice, now Badbird, now NoleBull and Nulli
Now post away, post away, post away all
But first a little advice, for each of y’all
Feel free to debate, but don’t personally attack others
No matter your team, we are all still “brothers”
Keep your posts on point; don’t get too messy
Get way out of line, you’ll be on the sidelines like Jesse
Maintain some ‘Perspective’; you don’t want to be labelled
Foolishly bet on your team, and your account might be ‘Disabled’
Focus on the positive, point out players who are shining
Quit your complaining, and Metros - stop whining
Take it easy on the refs; they’re doing their best
But if you don’t like it, put ‘Jambun’ to the test
No fretting over classes; there may be a lot
Just be grateful it gives more Suburbans a shot
Don’t worry about Power Rankings; they’re really not that bad
Since you’re opposed to large districts, it’s the best to be had
You can dream about transfers having to sit out a year
For now, we can be thankful the football season is here
Now there’s green grass and bright lights; get ready, let’s go
You could be stuck at home watching some boring show
And then like a receiver, he was off in a flash
But I heard him exclaim as he took off in a dash
From Key West to Pensacola, and points far and near
Good luck to your team, and to all a good year!
Sorry I’m seeing this so late. This is phenomenal!

"IMG Varsity" is a "B" squad, something almost akin to a JV roster anywhere else. It's not the IMG that folks see playing on TV. Lake Minneola is 0-2. Sarasota is 0-3 and lost to little Fort Meade. The notion that those wins elevate them to at or above a team that's beaten them by a combined 82-0 the last two times they played-all because Miami Norland is really good and beat that team- is wishful thinking. Really, really wishful thinking.
TC has been impressive so far. And, if the silly and awful FHSAA ratings system works out to where TC is the number one seed that would host all playoff games, they would be a major player.
IMG’s Varsity team may not be their “national” team, but they are anything but a pushover. They are very well-coached and still have good football players. In the hunt for the #1 seed in your playoff bracket, you can never overlook any team, least of all anyone with the name, “IMG,” on their jerseys.
If you followed this board after being banned for a year before creating this new account, you would know that I was *the* first person to point out that Manatee was going to be really good. But, I was met with laughing and confused stickers on my posts and the general thought they were going to be the same team that they were throughout the previous decade. Starting the season with 3 straight wins looks the part of them improving in a big way. As a huge Venice fanboy, I am really not looking forward to the idea of Venice having to go through Manatee to make it to round 4 of the playoffs. Their defense could shut us down all night, and that’s not hyperbole. We will see how everything shakes out but I really think 4S is in the air right now.

Messed up cause gorman was not the better team. At all
Out west you will never get a fairly called game. Have to maintain the narrative that California is on top of everyone when the reality is that their public schools are seriously lagging behind.
-
The bad news for Central is that the national championship is gone. The good news is that they will be massively favored against everyone not named Norland in 2M.

What about Miami Norland makes Manatee and Treasure Coast better? I'm not familiar with how that works.
Manatee beat IMG Varsity in the preseason, and then beat Lake Minneola and a much improved Sarasota team fairly easily. I didn’t mention Miami Norland. Treasure Coast just hung 66 on Jesuit. That speaks volumes already.

4S is wide open. Manatee and TC look like the favorites.

Will we be able to speak or is it just text?

I feel the same way. Every time Venice gets a big play it’s called back by a penalty.

Rival game as far as proximity but have been 1 in the win & lost column as Dillard has dominated.
dillard impressed me last week , after losing a head coach, DC, assistant coach & over 30 transfers, everyone saying Dillard is gonna b trash. We were removed off any TOP 10 Or Top 15 rankings ; I didn’t know what to expect coming into this season.
In my pre week 1 predictions I picked Dillard to win this 1 35-14 , so we will see if we can have another dominant week or was last week an aberration. @VeniceIndianFan @cribboy305 @Jullian
This game could have been much worse for Stranahan, they should count themselves lucky.
