Dillard's defense did a good job considering they that were playing arguably the best offensive unit in the country
You will need a similar effort to beat STA but that game is by no means a guaranteed loss
Clean up some things and Dillard will be a team nobody wants to see in the playoffs
I agree with you. Week to week I see us getting better. Losing over 30 transfers a HC , DC & OC & having a schedule that consists @ Naples, home vs chaminade , Miramar & gibbons is tough as hell for anybody. And to be 3-3 after all that. Is quite impressive actually.

You played Chaminade tough for 2.5 quarters before the wheels fell off. That's really all you could hope for. Great effort by Dillard.
Thanks bro I appreciate it. They played wayyyy better than mi predicted or anyone else predicted. No said we had no chance & it would be a running clock by mid 2nd quarter.
not only did that not happen but this team showed chaminade we’re not afraid of you & to beat us you’re gonna have to play all 4 quarters which chaminade had to do.

Pahokee led at the half 6-0, but the defense failed to get any stops in the third (gave up 15 points ), while the offense turned the ball over twice (fumble and int). Starting QB got hurt on the third play and the backup played the rest of the game. They were already without starting RB (J. Wilcher) and top DB (Fertil) from injuries last week. They fought in the fourth and had the ball with 1:30 left but another turnover killed those chances.
The injury bug is creeping in, we have Benjamin next week, then 2 byes (we only have 9 games) before Muck Bowl (Glades Central). Our roster has been equivalent or bigger then every opponent and we don’t have a lot of 2-way players, but we’re getting key injuries.
Sorry about the injuries man I love the team you guys have over there. You guys are really talented & only gonna be better moving forward this season. Good luck.

You have an outside chance against St. Thomas. They are good, but this is far from their best team. If Dillard plays as hungry as they did tonight, an upset would not shock me.
I agree with you. As always a great football insight.

Dillard clearly left it all on the field against a nationally ranked opponent. No shame in their performance. They were in the game up to late in the 3rd.
That’s all I wanted them to do. I’m so proud of them bro. Everyone thought we would be Deerfield 2.0 after all we lost this off season but instead they look like a team that would be a tough ass wildcard opponent even if they wasn’t able to upset aquinas in a few weeks.

In a game that was 35-20 late in the third quarter as expected the lions offense proved to be too much.
the panthers turned it over 3 times on the lions 15 yard line 1 was a interception the other 2 was turnover on downs.
in all seriousness tho I’m so dam proud of this team because going into this game vs the #4 team all I wanted to see was a TEAM that wasn’t afraid of the moment & was ready to FIGHT! & for three quarters they did that. Even tho I predicted it would be a running clock way before halftime.
yes the deficit got big late but one thing I can say is that this team is getting better & better. This tough schedule is really building a very good football team before my very eyes. Despite everything we lost during the off-season. I’m SO DAM PROUD TO BE A PANTHER!! On To plantation next week.

Dillard is outmanned: at least they didn’t give up and crumble.
Lions attempting to run up the score first and goal lions but yeah lions offense is next level prolific. As a team were really good we’re just not at their level. Got to give it to them.

Lions tuned that turnover on downs into points 48-20 lions
-
Panthers couldn’t convert on third down on lions 30 lions take over

I had Dillard 75th in Florida right now. Let’s see if they can come out and make it respectable. Maybe they can get bumped to 74
Lmao lol from this first half effort alone they should atleast be 30-35 range LMAO. despite what happens the second half but let’s see.

Ok I’ll keep Chaminade in the rankings.
Lol and Dillard will fall even lower because even tho they fought tough and hung with the number 4 team in the nation we didn’t finish the job therefore should fall even further lol lmao

Have you not leaned anything over these years? It’s always tough love. I’m the reason they got good in the first place. If it wasn’t my constant 4-6 and 5-5 yearly predictions they would have kept going 4-6 and 5-5!!!
Lmao lol I thank you so much for those yearly 4-5 5-5 predictions lol

Halftime 35-14 lions had a end zone interception when Dillard was driving
-
Another first down for Dillard

Chaminade will be unranked this coming week.
I strongly doubt it but any narrative other than showing Dillard just any ounce of love. But aye we’re still cool tho.

@nolebull813 win or lose just want you to know this none top 25 deserving team is fighting vs the #4 team in the nation
@VeniceIndianFan @cribboy305 21-14 chaminade
WEEK 8 South Florida Top “15”
in The Huddle
Posted
#1. Chaminade Madonna (7-0)
#2. St Thomas Aquinas (6-1) Yes The Raiders Should Technically be 6-2 with the second loss being to cocoa, but overall behind chaminade I believe the raiders are playing the Best Ball Right Now.
#3. Miami Central (3-2) on paper the rockets look unbeatable, but on the field the rockets have been playing very mediocre football the last few weeks which is why I dropped them one.
#4. American Heritage (4–1)
#5. Homestead ( 4–1)
#6. Miami Norland (6-0)
#7. Miami Columbus (6-1)
#8. Booker T Washington (3-2)
#9. Palmetto (5-1)
#10. Coconut Creek (5-2)
#11. Cardinal Gibbons (4-2)
#12. Western (3-3) Even tho I believe Dillard would win a head to head vs western. The wildcats played tough in two loses to creek & American heritage so right now they get the 12th spot.
#13. Dillard (3-3) - played the #4 team in the nation for three quarters b4 the wheels fell off. Dillard is gonna be a tough out come playoffs. But for right now they get the 13th Spot.
#14. Miramar (3-3)
#15. Monarch (5-1)
outside looking in: Blanche ely (5-1), South broward (5-1) Miami Northwestern (2-5)
Let me know what you guys think @DarterBlue2 @Jullian @VeniceIndianFan
