Thank you for your post. It is sad that a coach can take a team to the playoffs, then the new guy just wants a paycheck... Happens to to many teams. Does Wharton produce many scholarship players in Football, Basketball, or Baseball? Just curious. Not trying to be an ass. I would imagine any decent athlete would transfer to a near by school with a decent program.

All some do is knock around other teams on here. Other than the very foul language it was about HS football. Maybe pointing out that NoleBull and his team was the target of it hurt his feelings so some cussing started, but not by me. I just got tired of him bulling Cocoa so I punched him in the gut with my words.

Yeah, Nole got a little sensitive when his team got called out and threw the Wharton topic to the Off Topic board... It's all petty though, to call everyones team not winning a national title a nobody.

3A maybe a little high or border line. They do play like a 4A school though.They should choose to play in at least 2A if not 3A.

Madison has less than 500 students enrolled. Where would that put them if they played according to numbers?

That and the Noles/USF being down the last few years and their rivals beating them down has not helped. Poor guy, I almost feel sorry for him.

Why Nolebull is like he is. Maxpreps National Ranking for Wharton, or should I say Tanking for Wharton the last few years. Year Nat W/L 2019 - 5550 6-4 2nd best team in years. The schedule was against mostly JV teams. 2018 - 6906 1-9 I think the coach started 3 blind kids on defense that year. 2017 - 6298 2-8 Head coach turned the team play calling over to his wife. 2016 - 3880 4-5 Did they promised all the home gate money to the ref's that year if they would help them a little. 2015 - 1348 8-2 Best ever. Almost beat all the baby seals. Played one good team that year and got distroyed. 2014 - 3895 7-3 Beat one district team... You get the point.

I know Nole is laughing and giggling like a little school girl when he types his comments about Cocoa. He thinks it bothers some of us, but in reality it gives us a chance to talk about Cocoa a lot more than if he just passed over the Cocoa comments.

Cocoa beat Abilene @ Abilene when they were ranked #1 in the nation. The same team that beat Plant when Plant was 7A runner up. One man doesn't make a whole team... Remember Buie was out the entire playoffs that year.

You are right... per capita. Georgia, Alabama, Louisana...

Well if you are a 1A or 2A team and the only schools in a 80 miles radius are 4A, 5A. 6A. 7A, and 8A teams you may lose a lot of games. In theory, having 6 classes would be best. Merge 1A and 2A, and 3A and 4A into 2 classes. That would help keep some of those losing teams out. Also run the new 1A and 2A like the rest of the playoff brackets. Probably why it won't happen. The smaller schools will drop out and become independant teams. Also the FHSAA would lose out on cash, minus 2 gate in the championships. Not sure how much that would amount to but they got to pay themselves and the ref's somehow.

How would you peeps in other counties like it if you had a few hecklers always talking bad about your teams? And making excuses about why they are good at certain times... When Cocoa finished the season ranked 12th in the nation none of the players were zoned out of Cocoa. If any were it was legal when transfers were not. Oh, and while we are talking about over rated teams... throw your teams in there in their down years...

I believe I got 12 of the 14 picks correct. The only 2 that I misssed on were my homer picks, Viera and Eau Gallie.

Brevard has had a lot of teams in the finals and won a lot of championships. Not sure why you are so anti Brevard. And trust me... It shows.
