well Miami central only lost by 1 this past year and STA is a national power so both those are possible losses for BTW

that's big prediction to not have BTW in top 10 when serval teams like Dywer who didn't even make playoffs last year are in it, but we will wait and see

well we managed to snag a comeback victory against west orange in last years kickoff who eventually won the district on Apopka so anything can happen, then again I don't think giving up a 27 point lead will work this time around, we need to start quick and keep the pressure on all game to have a chance of beating Apopka

They have a new coach that came over from the Central staff.. They return their now soph qb which played solid last year... I know they lost 3 players from their defense that's at BTW now... But it's really a 2 team district with Borland and northwestern knocking on the door

If you are talking about De Laselle they played Suwannee and defeated them a few years ago in Live Oak. I don't remember what year but they smoked Suwannee 

I am curious on Apopka as well.  I am not as familiar with that region to give a fair opinion.  From what I have heard they are expected to contend for a 8A Title again this year.  Last year, Apopka started kind of slow and seemed to peak late.  I also know Columbia is a very established program and will be looking for a big win in this one.  Both teams apparently are very will coached and this should make for a nice early season matchup.

I would have a tie between STA and central at 1, then BTW a close 2nd, also, is Miami Northwestern supposed to struggle or something?

Both teams are breaking in new coaches, so it's even on that front.
 
This feels a lot like when Northwestern finally played STA......One year too late. Northwestern had just lost Teddy Bridgewater and other playmakers. Booker T is losing a ton of players. We'll see how it plays out, but STA is loaded. This game would have been much better last year.
 
 

IMG is not a powerhouse.. Who did they play or beat? SJR from jearsey bout lost to a in St. John ... Plus they played no big name schools in fla and don't give me jacksonilville trinity....

I agree with that Joshua, I was there as well as you aready know, lol, I know in our game they had a running back who made a few plays but they didn't do a ton more then that, now they also beat Lincoln at that scrimmish if I heard correctly so truthfully none of the teams really separated themselves, heck I don't even think Columbia did as good as they should have, but I originally expected madision to walk over the 1A but now it doesent look to be that separated as people first thought

May or may not. I wasn't totally impressed with them even running those five or six plays they did run. And yes I was there myself. There are issues on defense as well. So them not whooping Hamilton as everyone expected in the spring (which they did whoop them in the previous spring) is a sign to me of to see how far Madison can go. Right now 1A is open to the masses. If you want to win it, you better be ready otherwise get out of the way as they say.

After talking with some people that went to the scrimmage the word is Madison only ran about 5 or 6 plays out various formations but once they got under center and ran the ball they pretty much moved it at will. So i would not put to much stock into Madison being down to much, They are still Madison and they have great coaching, i expect they are still the team to beat in 1A.

Word of advice max prep is highly not a good resource to look at... No need to apologize...

I will be there if the good lord is willing, I have been a follower of Trenton Football since the 70's and this is the best collection of talent and size we have ever had by far. Last night in Ocala we picked off several pass attempts and caused at least 4 fumbles, We got after the West Port QB pretty good and had him running for his life most of the game, One of the sacks came from the blind side and knocked his helmet off and mouth piece out.
 
Belleview only got 2 first downs and both of those came on a penalty.

congrads on being the first to reach number 1000, with how active I am on here, I could reach that mark by end of season, lol but good to see how active u have been
