Great movie! -
The O Line is a very important part of Vero's offense from the videos I watched last year. Will the new line be ready?

Like Columbia said, we never know when our journey ends. So we need to make the best of what we have got and enjoy the ride as it occurs. It hurts, though, 33 is too young to die from natural causes.

He was the same age as my oldest child. I don't want to have the task of burying any of my children!

Good lord! He was still but a child.

Apopka had a bad three year run after the departure of Chip Gierke and before the arrival of Rick Darlington. That keeps them off the list. -
Seminole has a lot of potential upside. The team is still young, but it's now experienced.

In addition to contributions from us, it would need some kind of corporate sponsorship to sustain itself. That is hard to attain here in Florida. For what it's worth, I plan on making a contribution once I do my budget for the remainder of the year. Unfortunately, it will be constrained by the fact I am now a retiree. Back in the day, I was able to get your buddies some corporate advertising from my then employer. However, it was too little to make a serious dent in their needs. It's a pity as I feel AL and CK did a great job and I certainly miss their board and broadcasts!

Multiple Choice Quiz-Team with the Most D1 Talent

How could I forget about Kenny. Yes, that was probably the best high school defense I ever saw. There was no weakness on it. The day after Edgewater beat Deerfield, i went to the Orange Bowl to see the other state semifinal between Carol City and Killian. Killian had a bad ass running back and a big offensive line. The only managed to get into Carol City territory once in the whole game which ended with the Chiefs winning 3-0. I knew watching that game that Edgewater was going to struggle to score against Carol City, as earlier in the season they had struggled against a very good Mainland defense, losing that game 13-7. That Mainland team was its only state champion as they beat Naples in the 5A title game. -
Multiple Choice Quiz-Team with the Most D1 Talent

I am not surprised. It is the story of their program. I remember back in 2003, a two loss Edgewater team made the trip to Deerfield Beach to play the then undefeated home team in the state semifinal for class 6A. That DB team had Brent Schaffer a 4 star D1 QB who had a very good arm and good mobility and a bevy of quality receivers. Edgewater picked him off on DB's first drive of the night and subsequently scored and never surrendered their early lead despite DB closing the gap late in the game. The following week Edgewater ran into Willie Williams and Ricky Jean Francois and crew (one of the most stifling high school defenses I have ever seen), and despite defending well themselves could not put a drive together against Carol City, eventually losing 13-0. -

It could be. If that's the answer they totally squandered their talent. -

If you are right, they made a total mockery of their season! -
ColumbiaFan you going to Georgia 7 on 7 this week
DarterBlue2 replied to Dan in Daytona's topic in The Huddle
More of it is actual injury/serious pain than you think, Dan. You have to remember that protective gear in soccer is minimal. Trust me from a former player, a vicious tackle is plenty painful. Add the fact that players are using metal studs (which is crazy) in this World Cup, and the risk of injury is very real. -
Very interesting decision. I saw Sanberg in the state title game against First Coast. He impressed me a lot. I totally got his decision to play baseball instead. It is what I would have done if I were in his situation, as concussions are a real issue. Hope it's not too late for him to resurrect his football career.

St Thomas Aquinas Transfers - The Real Numbers

If the new staff restores a winning attitude and pride, the transfers will cease and you will get guys coming in. Hopefully, the new staff will be able to do that! -
Hey, it's Raider for Raider. GC original raiders vs the Rockledge raiders!

Back at you, man!

I have no basis for this, but I am going to take a wild guess and say Hardee.

Rowdiest home fan base you ever seen

I have spent a lot of time in both places (sister lives in North Dade and I used to have a client with Houston operations). The temperatures in South Florida are as hot, sometimes hotter. But in Houston, the humidity is the worst I have ever experienced anywhere in America. That said, the fall, winter and spring months are fine. And there are a lot of job opportunities there. -
I believe Cocoa's rise may have had something to do with Rockledge's demise. The Brevard fans can correct me if I am wrong.

Hope it works out for you, man. The one thing I don't like about Houston, is the heat and humidity in the summer. Makes South Florida seem like nothing!
