Trust me after what happened last year, you don't need to remind me ot the west coast bias. Thankfully MP is not the end all be all.

Alot of things have to go in Central's favor for them to win the natty. VeniceIndiansFootball touched on some key things. But as a Central alum, fan, and someone who follows the program I'm concerned about them not having a week 1 game. Reason being there are so many key matchups week 0 and week 1. They could find themselves being jumped by STA(SJB), C-M(SFA), etc. before even playing BG. Depending on what poll you look at. Yes, they get to control their destiny with C-M because they play week 5, but what if STA runs the table and MD, SJB, IMG, SFA all lose then you have to compete with STA for the natty. But we will see.

I look at it like this anything look like the greatest on paper. Like I said b4 any many times over I got nothing but mad love and respect for central and their DNA. 
 
but what’s on paper still has to jell & be a fit on the field. But like I said earlier central has way more then enough to breeze threw locally. 
 
but iMO I don’t think it would be enough to let’s see beat a mater dei, SJB, or let’s say a Rome Georgia or st Francis. This year. 
 
if Dillard didn’t teach me nothing else the last two years it doesn’t matter what you have on paper you STILL have to play the games. & NO! I’m not comparing Dillard to central ijs.

With Chaminade fielding maybe their best team in school history and TCA returning most of last year's team, it looks like the Lions and Conquerors are set to meet in a big-time showdown for the 1M title! Will the Conquerors continue their winning ways against Chaminade? Or will the Lions KO the Conquerors and claim the 1M title?

Chaminade was good last year but their offensive line I felt wasn't as good as Central's, which really hurt them against Gorman. Central matches up better with Gorman than CMD does. Also, SJB and Mater Dei both need to lose a game. So does Gorman. It's not easy but it can happen. 

If they go undefeated and Mater Dei, SJB, St. Frances, and IMG all lose a game somewhere, the natty is theirs. 

I don’t think they win the natty but I do see them repeating with extreme ease anything short of that would be catastrophic result 

Miami Central is coming into the 2023 season with arguably their best team in school history. Loaded with 3+ star talent seemingly at every position, they are in position to win 2M once again as well as ripping the national championship out of the hands of Mater Dei. Can the Rockets achieve orbit and accomplish their dreams of being consensus national champions? Or will AHP/Gorman/Miami NW drag them back down to Earth? 

Got to fix these three team districts. Should be 4 at a minimum. 

Recent history shows that your argument is, unfortunately, well-made. If Central runs the table once again, Mater Dei ends with one loss on the season, SFA loses a game, SJB loses at least one game, and Central still isn't consensus #1, you know the system is rigged in favor of California. 

Exactly my point. Central beat IMG Academy and was snubbed by a school who had one lost. So if Central runs the table again this year and does not get the number one spot then what. Are we going to say scheduling, no one likes FL schools, it's a Cali thing I mean I don't know.

But the problem here is (as with most pre-season polls), Mater Dei is preseason number 1.  Gorman is 2, St John Bosco 3 and IMG 4.  Central is 5.   If Central beats Gorman, and assuming all the other teams mentioned stay undefeated, I can see Central possibly jumping over Bosco and IMG, but probably not MD.  Only time will tell.

I can talk all about them and then some but I was sticking on topic , the statement was outside of the out of country transfers all of Miami central players are Miami home team players which isn’t true. 
 
if we ran MC roster up and down and lined them up with where those players stay a good 80% of those players are zoned for diff schools but they all found a way to load up at central because of the rockets winning pedigree. Which atp it is what it is , all love to the rockets ion want no smoke. 

I’m with you when you right but central got a few players from broward as well. 3 from Dillard. 
 
& yea the majority maybe Miami talent but they’re not Miami central zoned talent lol. Either way them rockets doing their thing so it’s all love & respect.

Central has had probably the best off-season of any team in the state so far. How do you improve on fielding your best team in school history? By reloading, of course! From listening to social media, some people think this could be Central’s best squad in history, even better than last year’s team. 
They’ve gotten 3 high level transfers from California, 2 from Texas, something like 8 in state and they are absolutely loaded to the brim. Armondo Blount has the potential to be even better than Ruben Bain. They return 2 defensive linemen that had experience last year. Their quarterback room is probably the best they’ve ever had. 2 starting linebackers return and 2 of their corners return. But someone like @MC Rockets or @cribboy305 would definitely have more insight into this than myself. The bottom line? It’s scary to think how good Central will be. I don’t think BTW will beat them but the return of Coach Ice the score could very well be within 17. Lots of exciting games in SOFLO this year. 

Looks like ESPN is getting ready to pick up Venice @ Miami Northwestern week 3. The game has been moved to Saturday instead of Friday and will be played at 6:00 pm. Can't wait! @cribboy305 @Jullian @MC Rockets

SJB had the courage to schedule Central, so why can't MD? I mean what's the holdup? SJB has played MC and STA, so why can't the "King of High School Football" in Mater Dei do it too?  
 

49-14? so we going off 3 years ago… come on brother get serious. even if you don’t agree they were #1 thats a terrible reason to disagree.
