Whewww Lawd no kicker bro wat happen ? Lol & I’m sure PBL opponents pulled their starters & they still couldn’t help but score
im kind of envious cuz when Dillard gets up 35-0 next time you blink the game over. You’ll be lucky to score 1 more time.
shii these teams getting in the 70s lol
Cocoa will probably put up anywhere from 50s to 70s in their district games against Astronaut and Space Coast.
Rockledge might put up 50 in district games against Merritt Island and Bayside. Almost forgot, they'll probably do it tomorrow against Viera too.

I'm torn on the Chaminade v Northwestern game. Something is telling me that Northwestern could very well pull off the win in a shootout scratch that......high scoring game.
Edgewater will win big.
Columbus and Jesuit is gonna be a dogfight with either the last team with the ball securing the win or a defense coming up with a major stop on the last drive. I'm gonna lean Columbus with the upset.

The biggest problem I have with teams like Winter Park or Lake Wales is stuff like this
https://www.maxpreps.com/fl/winter-park/winter-park-wildcats/football/schedule/
The schedule has a few bright spots of decent opponents but basically even the top half of their schedule lacks the teams that will truly tell me where they stand in the upper half of my rankings
Ocoee and Lake Brantley should be good games I'm not sure how good Boone is nowadays. Their district isn't good at all.

I assume you're talking about the nationalhsfb.com site? The guy who runs PrepGridiron logistics, and goes out of his way to shit on schools that don't partner with him, runs that site. The actual prepgridiron site is not run by a game promoter.
Yea but I knew about him from the prepgridiron forum when it started up

Rab been banned, me and garden state baller were also banned
What's amazing though is they don't ban lowndes punk 96 even though he has doxed multiple posters by posting headshots and both times he only got a week suspension
Of course badrouter (skyway) knew this and was actually backing the person doxing posters and then ran to every board asking for me to be banned because I called him out for lying
But that's why that Prep Gridiron national board is falling apart, the national HS Football board I'm on now is actually a good football board and isn't full of hypocritical leadership who gives favoritism to the south GA posters and attacks posters who got fed up with their crap
I stopped taking that board seriously once I saw how Prep Gridiron ran their OOS events or treated schools who weren't partnered with them

No doubt, those thinking we have no more games we can lose (except if we play Lakeland and get blown out) seem to be picking up the slack for Jesse with non-sensical pronouncements. By the way, the lightning capital of the world by most standards is in Maracaibo, Venezuela or Africa. Florida is considered by some with Oklahoma as the top in the US, but Orange county ranks higher than Polk. So, I think this person just throw things out there to annoy and try to get others wound up.
Lmao I definitely see it. Jesse is still lurking in the shadows lmao gets me everytime with his random laughing reactions.

Raiders looking super good so far!
Picked up another big win against Doral 45 to 7. Not too sure on how good Doral really is but they've been mentioned in 4m rankings.

Should be another great game, but as I mentioned on the other thread I don't put much stock in these national rankings as they have Jones, Edgewater and Cocoa all in the top 100, but Seminole not a sniff even though the local reporters watching these games all viewed them as the best in the area. By the time they reach that Cocoa game some of this nonsense will sort itself out.
Its crazy that Seminole isn't ranked in the top 100. Eventhough Cocoa finished ranked in the top 100 last season, I feel like they got a rankings boost due to them having STA scheduled in a game that had a high probability of being picked up by ESPN.

I think the Lakeland game will happen as this weather pattern usually last the first couple of weeks of the season. As you and others have pointed out the Dreadnaughts are going to blow everyone out during the regular season plus we still have Rockledge, Mainland and West Orange who have all looked great so NO GUARANTEES!! Tonight's game did have a weather delay for about an hour and a half. Rain or shine, we will look forward to all those games.
Yall game with Rockledge will definitely be a slugfest.

It is tough losing games like this, but I feel Seminole did what they needed to do to go WIN the game. Last year against Cocoa the difference being I thought we LOST the game. In my eyes, this Seminole team is better than last year's Cocoa team and it isn't meant as a slight just my opinion.
Oh trust me I don't take that as a slight at all. Seminole is one of the games I originally had Cocoa losing eventhough they could be a trap game for Seminole I doubt they will overlook them since the coaches know each other well and have been talking a lot on twitter before they had the game scheduled.
I see them as the number 1 team in Central Florida as well. Cocoa should have some confidence built by the time week 7 comes

Billed as the game of the week in Central Florida, it lived up to its billing. A back and forth game that we had a chance to win in regulation but hats off to them blocking the extra point to send the game into Overtime 20-20. They won the toss and of course decided to go on offense last. On the first play of OT from the 10, Sophomore sensation Taevion Swint punched his 4th TD of the game and we hit the extra point for a 27-20 lead. On their possession, one of their receivers caught a short pass around the 5 on second down and managed to drag one of our secondary defenders into the endzone. After a timeout they elected to go for 2 and dialed up an excellent pass play to score the winning 2 points. Fans on both sides definitely got their monies worth and Seminole offense will definitely be problematic for anyone. They ended up being the better team making a couple more plays than us and certainly deserve their ranking at the top of 4M. Most pundits didn't think we could win or even be this close. We will see how we can continue to improve for the remainder of the season to come out on top in these type of games.
Sounds like a great game and probably a little bit of a flashback to last season with another one point thriller.

They have the talent but we will see just how good they are once they get into district play. Their nondistrict leaves alot to desire

Good luck on everyone’s bid for an area title. By banning teams from a classification based on their location in the state means it’s not a true state champion. Not when huge pockets of the state are ineligible for certain classes. It’s an area championship. Good luck
They should make it to where there's an extra 4 games to decide state championship. 1m vs 1s, 2m vs 2s, 3m vs 3s and 4m vs 4s.
"State" titles the week or 2 prior would technically be a "State Regional/Area Title"
Have those 4 games before the Geico State champions series if a school wants to participate in that.
Hell it could be a way for the FHSAA to make more money since that's their end goal. Call it the Florida Champions Series and set up the most even Regional/Titlist against each other in that event. Rotating the event yearly or have it in Orlando.

Using our former QB Chad Mascoe as an example, if he has a big year at Campbell Univ. as projected he could enter the transfer portal and get picked up by a D1 school taking an available scholarship away from a HS kid in the class of 2023. This article also emphasized that this new development affects quarterbacks the most.
That's definitely gonna be the case. Davin Wydner from Cocoa ended up switching his PWO from UCF to Ole Miss which was a major loss for UCF in my opinion. But as far as transfer portal goes for players already at the school for a year or 2.....from what I saw just up til this past week, Cocoa and Rockledge had 6 players enter the transfer portal majority transferred to other major programs with a couple transferring to lower level programs.

This will be their 3rd time that I know of in recent years having a Broward power scheduled in the regular season. The other 2 were Chaminade which got cancelled during Covid season when they were forced to play an all Brevard schedule and when they got destroyed by Uschool when they were the Suns and their current head coach was the OC for USchool under current STA head coach Roger Harriett
