The situation doesn't look that serious at all just going full pads a day earlier? doesn't seem to serious so him serving a game suspension in the KOC game seems about right. I wonder who recorded their practice or turned them in lol? must be a rival or someone in district....

They usually reload in the summer time but I will have to wait and see what they bring in but right now Oxbridge will be in my top 10 local schools but no where near the top

Great points and top 10 for as 3a I will have to disagree with Oxbridge being the best team in Palm Beach this season. Oxbridge is definitely one of the top teams but I wouldn't put them a clear number 1 over teams like Dwyer, Atlantic, Palm Beach Central, Pahokee and even Glades Central this season but some questions will be answered over the next few weeks like you stated

The Muck Bowl looking like it's building up to be a good one this year both teams are pretty stacked this year I'm giving the edge to Pahokee at this point in spring but we have some time to go before the game

The issue is not so much on the coaches here with recruiting what's going on now is that kids recruiting kids and parents recruiting parents. This is the issue most local coaches are facing in our county (Palm Beach), the parents are talking to other parents about which program is best for their child then to top that players at those programs talk to players at other programs getting kids to transfer. The article was a great example showing how the climate of high school football hyas changed. Atlantic (Delray) had a great season last year made it to state but they received about 10-15 guys that contributed both offensively and defensively which made it difficult for local teams to compete with them.

Agree and again kids transfer for all type of reasons ...so what about that band member that transfers or debate team member or just a kid moving for better education in their opinion? again the state will not touch that issue because of the negative spin that will follow such a ruling. Texas, Florida, Cali, and Ga will always have issues with kids movement so the cry out over it will continue to be there from coaches and fans but the look for the state to do anything soon it's been 40 plus years of movement now it's just reported more.

Those guys at the FHSAA has a stacked of papers on their desk I'm sure going back 2 or 3 years...first they will need the kid that allegedly received money that transferred to admit he did which I will doubt he does that because his eligibility will be in jeopardy then you will need some type of paper trail to connect his new school to him and if it's cash I don't know how they will be able to even connect that without the issue not being criminal right? But if it's true that's horrible but I just don't know what the state could do about it because it will be very difficult to connect

Doubt if that rumor is true I mean paying a player that type of money at the high school level just to come play there for a year. But if this story starting to gain momentum then I'm sure the state is very aware of that situation but I find that hard to believe a kid was payed to come play for a former coach, I believe there is a possibility he was recruited to go there but being payed that is crazy

Central Im guessing is down this year its no way STA schedule this game if Central is reloading

When it comes to the boldness of the student athletes at the high school level with announcing their movements I can agree with you there that it does come off as a bit cocky or arrogant when those things take place but I'm pretty sure the motivation comes from the networks that televise these kids making college decision with "Gender reveal" type prompts and etc or parents that are becoming more famous for walking out on their sons because of a college choice and major networks giving it all the attention. It's all "supply and demand" if the public loves and hates what high school football has become but gives it the attention more than a team winning then kids will continue to do so. Kids transferring get more attention than anything else right now in high school football guys always want to know who, why and where a kid is going it's actually becoming a major market for it Lol...with the momentum these travel 7 on 7 teams getting watch how far this thing go from here we are just in the beginning stages

As a whole I don't think their is an issue in athletics as a whole or just not reported like "Football", but I think "Football" get majority of the attention when it comes to all the movement. Like I once stated I don't think transferring is a bigger issue than the pay those guys receive for coaching in the state of Florida. I think the demands and expectations coaches have to succeed in the state with low pay on top of the difficulty of building a program with so much movement creates a major issue state wide. But to specifically isolate football with the movements and try to put rules in place that target only football players movements will become a dangerous game the state I don't think want to fight because that will open up so much negative back lash, heck they even trying to get the college sit out rule over turned because of all the movements they have with the coaches moving around at the college level. All the moving starts at home with the parents and honestly good luck at trying to stop that...look at the youth league now you have a kid that may have moved to 4 different parks between the ages of 6-13, but all of sudden you think the parents will stop once the kid reach high school?

Wouldn't be surprise with the Franklin kid because the brother left last month and went over to Dwyer and i can't see the parents leaving one son at Lakes and the other at Dwyer. So it was a matter of time before the other kid left.

That will be a tough one because I thought Atlantic was the better team last season when they played Central and that one came down to the wire probably one of the top games I attended last season with all the talent on both sides. I will give Atlantic the knob this up coming season but that can change after spring Central will be very good again this season so I can see this one going either way but it should be another good one but right now I'm going with Atlantic in a close one

With the recent success of Atlantic and the job that staff is doing kids are joining that program at a pace that has never been seen in this county and that includes Dwyer and Oxbridge. Atlantic in the past two seasons has pulled multiple players from Oxbridge, Dwyer, a boat load from Boynton, Vista, Santalucies, Village, American Heritage, Spanish River, Boca, and Heights. This team which many agree will be better than the 2016 and 2017 teams they are building something crazy in Delray

Majority of them was senior last season right? I know Vero is a factory up north last season they were pretty good I thought that would be the team that get to Orlando

Been hearing rumors of the possibility of this game happening I think this will be a electrifying ball game, I know their is bad blood on each side and back and forth over the years but to see this game finally happening is a good thing. Now if some way Dwyer and Oxbridge could happen this will be an exciting year to look forward to but right now the Atlantic and Oxbridge Academy game is happening

I think because he lack the major offers or any offers for that matter that I know of some experts or scouting service don't list him as one of the top QB's in the up coming senior class but Gio Richards is right up there maybe the best in my opinion

Oxbridge will be just find I hear they got two offensive lineman transferred in from Palm Beach Gardens look for Oxbridge to make another run to States this program is not done

Dwyer I think is being over looked this year I hear this team is stacked wouldn't be surprised if they come out the best team in Palm Beach this year

Tracey is very understandable but for the Davis kid the move from the Glades to Jupiter is a pretty good stretch for anybody

What is going on at Glades Central? this don't happen in the Glades

I wouldn't put Atlantic ahead of Palm beach Central this year, head to head last season Palm Beach Central beat Atlantic and that was probably Atlantic best team in history, Palm Beach Central from what I'm hearing brought back majority of their team from last season so I won't be surprise if they are loaded. Oxbridge does not have the depth right now to compete against the top level teams in Palm Beach County right now but if they can add some talent to go with the players they have right now they can have potentially a good team right now. I also hear Dwyer will be pretty good this year as well but my top 5 preseason will have Palm Beach Central right up there with Atlantic, Pahokee and Dwyer, I have to wait and see what happens with Oxbridge because I'm hearing the same thing about them not playing a spring a game because of lack of depth
