    Hi guys, The Town  retur

Hey guys, The Town has returned! Dillard appreciate where you are at this point because  some people don't have the same luxury as you do. You could be 2-5 so be thankful, stop complaining and get ready.

    Most importantly, Good luck!

Whose complaining lol I’m more then greatful for where we are. Especially when everyone thought we would be Deerfield 2.0 after all we lost but I appreciate the love bro

But who's to say that Dillard won't start getting transfers again next year? Dillard is having a winning season in spite of all the tumult. Kids in neighboring schools will surely look at these results and say, "hey, I want to be a part of that!" Especially if Dillard wins a couple of playoff games and keeps the STA game respectable? Gosh.  And just like that, Dillard will be a destination school once again.

Facts. When it comes to Friday we just have to limit the penalties and mistakes. Which bites us everytime we can’t get a delay of game and a holding penalty on the same drive and now it’s first or 2nd and 25 we got to keep it 2nd & 4 3 and 1 type stuff.

Dillard could not possibly have a worse scenario in front of them. They just played 2 games in 4 days and it's about to be 3 in 8. We talked about it on Scorestream. With the district championship on the line, playing STA @ Brian Piccolo on a short week of rest is just a recipe for disaster. And beyond that, it's clear from what happened in the Cocoa game that you won't get a fair shake with STA's officiating crew anyhow. STA by 17 or more. Just focus on trying to get healthy for the playoffs and seeing these guys again in a potential rematch with (hopefully) more rest.

I pray that even in possible defeat that we’re able to keep the game competitive. With everything we’ve lost ; on paper this should be a running clock for the raiders but the amount of growth I’ve seen in this over the course of this season has me so dam proud to be a panther & if we can go toe to toe with another national ranked opp on the road it just goes to the growth girth and overall will power of this team.

& going into the playoffs Dillard would be a force for anyone they play. Which is crazy because after losing a head coach & over 30 transfers making the playoffs was far from a guarantee.

  4. What A Week What A Week!, Now the matchup everyone has been waiting for Patriots Vs Raiders.

the last 2 matchups with these teams have been very competitive, but with the raiders holding a (2-0) advantage.

Both teams come in (2-0) in the district , both teams blew out their district counterparts, Dillard comes in winner of 3 str8, raiders come in winners of 8 Str8 & now it all comes down to this Friday for the district title.

the panthers tho are coming in a little banged up & will be playing their 3rd game in 8 Days. But make no doubt about it they will be ready to play come Friday.

it’s gonna be a tough one for us for sure , but these are the moments you live for. The extremely tough schedule we’ve had this year should have us prepared for the moment come Friday. Win or lose. This is gonna be a standing room only game the entire panther nation is gonna be there so let’s get it.!!

Trying to drag a player over to the ball and punching a guy are two different things.  One should result in a garden-variety penalty (holding), while the other should be cause for ejection.  Neither should result in a brawl.

Any chance Dillard could lose any players or coaches to suspension for their slightly-more important game this Friday night?

No player from Dillard we be getting punished being that we wasn’t the agressor.

In regards to the incident the b.a player tried to force our player to the ball. When he saw he couldn’t achieve that he threw a punch which caused all hell to break loose.

I'm not sure how this makes sense.  A kickoff is a live ball; either team can recover it (assuming it traveled the necessary 10 yards).  A punt, on the other hand, would be different.  And if it were a punt, there's no reason why anyone from the receiving team needs to be anywhere close to the ball once the decision has been made not to field the punt and try to return it.  I never understand why someone from the return team feels the need to get up close to the ball and watch it roll while there are several members of the kicking team around the ball.  Nothing good can happen for the return team.  But I digress.

The other thing I'll never fully understand is why guys on a football field throw punches at players that are wearing helmets.   Rarely, if ever, do you see guys throwing body shots when a melee break out; they're always swinging up high at a dude wearing a helmet with a facemask.  Now, the guys who grab the facemask and try to sling the other guy around/down, I kind of get that.  But taking a full-on swing with an unprotected hand making contact with a hard plastic design specifically to protect a person's head, I just don't get that.  But I digress again.

Sorry the game ended the way it did, but ending early wasn't the worst thing that could happen to Dillard this week.

Our when the ball was being kicked it was a punt return our player was backing away from it when he realized he couldn’t get a clean fair catch. When the ball stopped rolling the nearest panther was like 10 feet away a cobra player came and grabbed one of our players and tried to drag him to the ball as if no one was gonna see that, which made the whole Dillard side erupt.

Either way if I was an administrator at either school I would be having a talk with the head coach and telling him to clean it up going forward

It only hurts both programs to do this stuff but obviously I feel bad for you man because this stuff shouldn't be how football games get ended

    Exactly it’s crazy mane smh

Also correct me if I'm wrong but didn't both schools have separate incidents as well in at least one other game this season? (not including the two total between these two)

Not sure of b.a but Dillard has 2 at Dillard , then 3 weeks ago at b.a the dillard vs b.a matchup was called first qt because of craziness then it got postponed until tonight and now the game is called again only this time it’s final. Dillard has the win.

If coaches are throwing punches they need to be fired

Woody Hayes would be proud but there's no place for that in sports especially at the high school level

This rival is crazy especially Dillard vs ba , the cobras couldn’t take that they were getting running clocked and on the ensuing Dillard kick off return on of the cobra players tried to pull a Dillard player and make him touch the ball so it can be turnover Dillard. And when he wouldn’t budge he punched our player which led to a riot on the field between both sides. And the game was called. This is the second time this year these two teams haven’t been able to finish this matchup. This was a make up game because the first Matchup was called in the first qt due to foolishness smh.

I’d still put Central at 3. Aquinas on the road this week wasn’t dominant. Would Central beat Monarch by more? Yes.
I like Gibbons at 10! Everyone beneath them I believe they’d beat or have already. (Creek?).
Saw Heritage vs Naples. Their D was wore out by the 4th qtr.Had a 31-3 halftime lead. Their passing game was better than average, but that won’t fly in the state semi’s. Their smallest lines ever(DL & OL), but fast. Special teams good. Wouldn’t beat Norland or Central.
Dillard has a chance to jump up a bit, or a lot this Friday.

Facts bro. But if Dillard wants to be respected as a continued solid program they have to put away teams they shouldn’t struggle with. Continuing tonight.

not so good teams would make this game more difficult then it needs to be.
