Gave up a Td on last play of the game with backups in again. Hats off to Hamilton much improved since first meeting love the 8th grade RB they have kid will be beast in year or two. Now to prepare for the game we been wanting since last years playoffs Madison County.

#5 RB Newberry is not slow by any means and is a big at 225lbs and runs north and south. 3rd in 1A in rushing yards. On defense newberry has the two D1s on dline we shall see how pahokees o line fairs against Durden and Parks.

But I have finished a simulation for Classification 1A. They will have no districts next year so this is actually more meaningful than 7A.

South Walton is the team that would benefit the most under the new system as they lost a district shootout and were eliminated. Hamilton County would be the biggest loser in this situation. Not only would they be out the playoffs a team they beat Lafayette (Mayo) would be closer to the playoffs than they would.

What this tells me if I was a coach, is schedule very carefully. I will continue to say it, I am not sure I see the benefit in scheduling tough under the new system or even mediocre teams.

No sweat...LOL  I have a history this year with Columbiahighfan2016 on that topic....We have been going back and forth on the topic but I swear to you if Apopka wins States this year, we will be hearing about that pre-season win from our graves....

The Celtics make the long trip down to Miami to meet up with the Warriors. They left at 6:30 am for a 4 pm start time. At the beginning of the season these two teams were projected to be in a lot better position in 3A than they currently are. However, it's a good test for my Celtics to see if they have awakened from their season long slumber yet heading into the playoffs as a district runner-up for maybe the first time in their history.

The only bad thing is fort white got to beat Madison just to get a shot at Trenton

For some reason i did not count Fletcher my mistake. Trenton was also a game short with Jeff-co backing out of a game because of weather, Just reaffirms my thoughts on SOS.  

While i dont put a lot confidence in strength of schedule this is how some of us match up

I think Trenton vs Fort White would be a must see game i think both schools would be evenly matched. 

There are not but about 8 1A teams in the north that are consistently good. 

Baker easily.  Baker has 25 seniors and 16 juniors no other 1A schools I know of comes close they are experienced and well coached and tend to overmatch most of the small schools up here.  This is not unusual for them to be senior and junior heavy its like this every year.  They won't be tested until the regiuonal final

Just checking out PSJs first round opponent West Gadsden, their QB Dentarrius Yon has thrown for 2441yds and 33 TDs and rushed for 479 yds and 6 TDs.  I guess the defense will know who to keep an eye on.  This kid is impressive.

I watched some of his hudl and he is quick, But i did not see a lot of defense being played 

That's about it but when u look at it there are not many teams especially in the BROWARD area where u can say Dang they defense legit & the ones that are here u named them all except Flanagan. Same goes in Miami you guys got hundreds of schools up their but only about 4 or 5 schools can be name with no shout out of doubt legit defenses. In the end it all boils down to who play their best next Friday who make the least amount of mistakes who want it more and whoever that is will be your winner.

We only have 8 seniors I believe. Playing a lot of 10th graders and even a couple of 8th graders are getting good playing time. So we are the definition of a young team. Proud of the way the kids kept battling early in the season and taking their lumps. Making the playoffs is a big deal, even if we get beat in the first round. Def gives the kids motivation to work in the off season. Losses are to Madison, Ft. White, Union Co., NFC, and Suwannee. So nothing to hang your head about. All Quality teams. 

You can be sure that the Hamilton Co. team that is traveling to Ft. White will not be the same one that they beat 48-0. Our players and coaches were dealing with some off field issues that week and were not as focused as they should have been. Now with that being said, Ft. White has a great team this year and should be heavily favored with the talent that they have. We have played a tough schedule and beat the teams we were supposed to and took a few butt whoopins along the way. I just expect Hamilton to give a little bit better fight this time around. We are gonna give it our best shot and see what happens. Go Trojans!!
