  1. Was not sure of the dates...but I do remember going up there for a game. I remember the stadium was awesome...really an old-school small town experience....much like our own home stadium in VB. I believe that Coach Livings and your HC were friends.
  2. Actually, VB and Columbia played a home and home in the 80's.
  3. I would just like to line up correctly.
  4. I just want VB to line up correctly.
  5. Whatever this is supposed to mean. Your support is greatly appreciated. I just want VB to line up correctly.
  6. I just hope we can line up correctly.
  7. VB lined up correctly. This was not an upset.
  8. I just hope VB can get lined up correctly.

You know what I would do Floridatech? I would march into Lenny's office and DEMAND to see his football plans for the rest of this year and beyond. Go ahead....show Lenny what teams a championship team is supposed to schedule to give them a realistic shot at winning it all. Be sure to pound the desk and all that stuff.....I hear he likes the enthusiasm.

Right now, VB just hope to line up correctly. Appreciate the help though.
  11. They had some really nice athletes with good size on both sides of the ball. Don't underestimate this team as the season progresses into the playoffs.
  12. Lake Mineola will surprise some people this year.
  13. There are a couple issues. Most schools are used as public shelters; thus, they have to be specially cleaned and sanitized before letting students back in. In fact, even the locker rooms (with equipment etc...) are not even accessible during these times. Then, many families evacuated Florida completely to ride out the storm. Some of these people are stuck where they evacuated to....because getting back into Florida is difficult right now. Its a big mess..but believe me, we want to play ball.
  14. Vero Beach has now lost two games because of Hurricane Dorian (Ft Lauderdale & Venice) Hopefully one of these games can be made up. Glad Venice was able to find a game on short notice.
  15. Wow....I guess Atlantic is pretty good. I hear Venice is really good too. I just hope we can line up and get a play off correctly.
  16. Bob just dropped it. He was heading on a vertical route initiated when the QB scrambled. Stuff happens.
  17. I just hope we can get lined up and get a play off cleanly.
  18. It's still the muck Always going to be a dogfight.
  19. I think Rockledge started slipping a little when Coach Wood left. His Raider teams were unbelievably talented and physical. Ran the Wing-T to perfection. Had about five plays.....but no one could stop them. I am not sure of his complete name, but they has a Defensive End named (Carlisle #3) ....could have been the most dominating player I have ever seen. Wood retired about the same time ODOM showed back up at Cocoa.... Titusville, and Astronaut also felt the change.
  20. Palm Bay was/is very good. Nothing fancy offensively, but they would just line up and punch you in the mouth with their running game, then catch you sleeping with a pass. They were always very physical and talented. Then, two different High Schools opened up in Palm Bay: Heritage and Bayside...and each siphoned off athletes which would have normally belonged to Palm Bay Coach Burke did a great job at keeping his team competitive year after year. Even now, when you face a Burke-coached Pirate team.....you are in for a fight. Sad to see Burke go....
  21. A few adjustments to make. Maybe you should express your playbook and play calling concerns directly to Coach J. I am sure he would welcome your input with great appreciation. Every little bit helps. VB will be just fine.
  22. Got a chance to see Nease vs Palatka last night in St. Augustine. It is my understanding that Nease has a brand new coaching staff in place, but I thought they looked pretty solid on both sides of the ball. Neace has some good athletes with decent size and showed off some team speed. Sure, there is some work to do, but it will be interesting to how they develop this year. They will win a few games no doubt. Palatka (4A) looked pretty good as well....they just ran out of gas towards the end. They did not dress nearly as many kids as 8A Nease, and the lack of depth showed. They have decent size on both sides of the line, and they also have some young skill talent. Still, they scored over 30 points against the home team. This team will also win a few games. It was great to sit in the stands, watching my granddaughter cheer, and not really care who wins or loses. I don't get that chance very often. But I will say this, I did not realize how brutal some fans (in the stands) can be.
