Yeah that Dunedin team had Stacy Simmons on it. Dude was a speed demon at WR. He went on to star at university of florida. I think that Dixie Hollins team had Marquel Blackwell on it. He played QB at USF when they started the program. Both spent time in the NFL. Blackwell is a college coach now.

With next year being a new 2 year cycle, it should be interesting to see how teams approach scheduling. There might be some average to below average teams getting a lot of looks by good to great teams like they are the hot girl at school. With the way these rankings are the good to great teams are the ugly chick that no one wants to date.

No way they ever thought the kicker would make it. Horrible call to kick a FG there because 1) you would only be up by 5, 2) No way in hell that kid was making that. Should have just punted the ball out of the endzone or out of bounds inside the 20.

That part right there is what drives coaches crazy on the sidelines. I will add that most officials seem to not have egos and are in it for the kids. I guess the same can be said for coaches as well.

Seems like more than a few kids left Osceola and went to Poinciana. Including a few DB's that AllOsceolaCountyFB is claiming to be the best in the county. Looks like to me Osceola Trains them and Poinciana plays'em.

Palmetto had a great team that year. The defense was awesome. But lost to Kissimmee Osceola in the semis at the Mecca. Palmetto would have won the state title for sure if their QB never got hurt late in the season.
