This wouldn't work with these schools. The game would work but not the atmosphere 

Not sure why they don’t do it. The gate would be out of this world. Tons of money to be made. All the fans bases would come out in droves. The tailgating, bands, reunions etc. make a whole weekend of it. 

If you build it, they will come, just sayin'

Venice is the last of the Sarasota School District fields to get the make over.  New bathrooms, new snack shacks, new new turf, new pressbox, some new seating, new scoreboard, new track. I have no idea what the budget is. The plan is for it to be completed about a week before graduation.
