KIPP is new and will be fielding a team for sure. Sarasota Christian and Old Plank are moving up from SSAA 8-Man to SSAA 11-Man Innovation in Orlando will be the newest public high school in the state. In 2026 Sounside in Gulf Breeze will open as the Soundside Hurricanes. First new school in Santa Rosa County in 25 years when Navarre opened in 2001.

Have to see how the transfer class comes together. Probably underdogs at Traz vs. the Rockets and favorites at home vs. BTW. Of course, both games could go either way.

That’s exactly what I’m saying. IMG isn’t even a Florida high school. They are a world sports academy located in Florida. If a Florida native who played for IMG was drafted, Florida would get credit because he is a native.

Nolebull, is that your way of saying that a kid from out-of-state that shows up and plays for IMG for a year or two doesn't really qualify as a "Florida kid?" If so, I agree 100%.

If you didn’t see something happen then how do you know it really happened? People lie. If you weren’t witness to it then you don’t know for sure. If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around, does it make a sound?

If a company opened up and they hired someone from elite private institutions from South Florida, and someone from Franklin County which is one of the worst schools in the country cried that it was unfair, should the company create a department specifically for people who came from failing public schools from the middle of nowhere? yes or no and why?

It would weed out the bad teams that are not championship material. The cream would rise to the top. So once the the teams ranked in the 400’s and 500’s were gone after the first round like they should be, it would start to get to the point only good teams are left. The last couple rounds would be the best of the best. One true state champion. Watering down the classes and letting teams who normally would have no business winning a title advance further than they should is like letting a toddler hold a fake steering wheel and pretend he’s driving. It’s not real. And it doesn’t prepare the kids for real life. It makes them think they are better than they really are.
