  2. correct, im still searching for the illegal part of the multimillionare that jumps into the bad school down the road, as their financial consultant and wants to give bill johnson the head coach at the good school over there, 50k to coach at his school. what part of that is illegal?
  3. Florida is still a "Right to Work" state. You can be fired for any reason or even no reason and you can choose to end employment by those same rules.
  4. what part of this is illegal?
  5. Hey you want to come use your talents at this much needed program? We will give you a financial incentive that could change entire fortune and future of your entire family for generations potentially. busted!!!!! That’s illegal!!!! He has to stay put and struggle to provide and screw his kids from going to college and screw his dream of owning a home. He has to stay where he is until they fire his ass or he quits with no job in place!!!!
  6. I saw a post-season interview with a head coach that had just won another state championship. He mentioned in the interview thew he had been approached afterward with an excellent offer. He did end up rejecting it and staying where he is. He didn't get into how he was approached or any other details. Great question, though.
  7. All of what you mentioned above is illegal. But yet all of what you mentioned are that tactics that’s used to “change those fortunes” lol smh. it’s just are you slick enough to not get caught or are you to cautious to NOT take the risk & trust the process of doing everything by the book.
  8. So if you are a public school with a failing football program and wanted to take it serious and get competitive, how are legally allowed to go about finding the top coaches to turn your fortunes around? Are you allowed to talk to a current coach employee by another school? Do you have to wait until they are fired and unemployed? Say you have some former alumni who made the pros and have a little money to throw around. Are they allowed to sweeten the deal and throw some money at a coach currently at another school? The former alum is not speaking as someone employed by a school: they are private citizen. Are they allowed to tell a coach I’ll give you a $25,000 check if you come to my former school. Maybe go buy a house and use it as a down payment. What’s the rules?
  9. How do you recruit a kid who is currently in limbo and doesn’t attend a school with a football program?
  10. New NIL bylaws being discussed at the upcoming FHSAA Board of Directors meeting. It's coming... https://fhsaa.com/documents/2024/5/7//BOD_Pkt_May_14_2024.pdf?id=5344
  11. Yesterday
  12. In his announcement, he thanked coaches from other schools for REACHING OUT and giving him the opportunity to be a part of their program. That sounds like recruiting to me.

  14. With the rise of social media, kids don’t need to be illegally recruited. They know where the hot hand is. They know what coaches have the connections and where the coaches will be at. Plus kids recruits other kids. They all star stack. I’m not saying they should, I’m just saying these kids all attend the same camps, tourneys etc. they talk. They know the process.
  15. So your saying if a team has like 15 transfers in one season, I need to have like a team of investigators and video tape to realize that the coach is recruiting. Come on. The truth is all of the super teams recruit and yes some players come because of the winning culture. I know its impossible to get full proof on everyone that cheats and even when they do have evidence and catch teams red handed like Winter Park.....NOTHING HAPPENED. Its the reason they should have competitive promotion and demotion so all the super teams who do bend (CHEAT) the rules get to beat each other up.
  16. Last week
  17. I’m not saying it doesn’t occur. What I am saying is that everything is case by case so if you are accusing a specific coach/team of cheating, I would at least like to see the evidence of the accusation. Because if you don’t then you are basically defaming them with gossip
  18. Are you saying illegal recruiting does not occur in Florida ? Wake up and take your blinders off
  19. Dang shame. Wonder what it was about. Wonder if the principle was meddling out of his element. There was a story near me about Land O Lakes High. Before the season, 2 freshman were slap boxing and other kids were filming it. One kid was obviously winning over the other with the kids in the background cheering it on. So when it got leaked, it was interpreted as hazing. As if all the kids in the background were sanctioning it. Without one second of investigation the principal shut the entire football program down. Varsity season cancelled over 2 freshman slap boxing. It caused a shit storm. Local news swarmed the school. Parents outraged. Protesting outside the office demanding the principal be fired. They finally asked some quick questions and it was determined to be exactly what it was originally said it was. Football was reinstated but JV missed the first game over it. The principal was some punk pencil neck who looks like he never played a sport in his life and many people came out and said he had it out for the football program and he was the same way at his old school. I say all that to say is this a similar case of some pencil neck principal who never played sports trying to undermine and butt in to something that they are way out their element on?
  20. Word is, Coach Banks the former head coach was escorted off campus last week after a heated discussion with the principle. from what i have been told this stems from banks talking to the paper about the program.
  21. They definitely would have been competitive. They had a really good and really young OL coming back. They also had settled into a pattern of getting plenty of transfers.
  22. I have a question for all of you guys. Before all the turmoil happened with Lake Minneola were they even going to be competitive this year
  23. And just wait until NIL is enacted at the high school level.
  24. You right. Down year or not if Ice has anything to do with it Booker T. ain't running from nobody
  25. This is theoretically the answer but it will never work.
  26. Theoretically -- great. Just have to get around those pesky school choice/school voucher state laws.
