Columbia usually gets around 3k attendance a game (estimation) at 7 bucks (average) Thats at least 21k plus parking and concessions so playing it conservative it's around 25-30k per home game A trip to Vero Beach would require 2 charter busses, the rates we had going to IMG last year for KOC was around 5-6k but IMG paid that entirely plus some money left over Rate to Vero Beach (6 hour trip vs 4 hour trip) likely around 7-8k So for Columbia to break even (by not getting a home game in the deal) Vero Beach would have to pay Columbia anywhere from 32-38k I doubt Vero Beach would offer half that when they can get someone in central FL for a lot cheaper

Not unless Vero is willing to travel Columbia is insistent on getting both their openings at home this year since apparently we already have 5 road games and Columbia tries to keep their schedule at 5/5 minus stuff out of their control (hurricanes) Now if Vero traveled this year Columbia would return trip next year

Reminds me a bit of these big game farms where hunters pay big bucks to come and bag a "prize" animal they can brag about to their friends.

KSA is a travel agency that convinces teams to pay on average about $900-$1000 per person to fly round trip, 4 day hotels, local transportation, food, and tickets to Disney world. They start from the worst team and work their way up until a coach for the FL team agrees to play. That’s why about 90 percent of the games scheduled in the history of this event have the OOS team as the higher ranked one. Very rarely will a traveling team be the underdog. So these teams pay one set price, come down and have a blast, beat a shit team, and then go back and brag how they went down to powerhouse Florida and whooped some Florida team!!! Everyone wins. Except the shit Florida team. Lmao!
