That was one of the best games I've been to and the best Osceola team I watched!  
If it wasn't for T Bell going down before the state title game, I see them Winning states.

Spruce Creek 10 @ Winter Park 31   Winter parks offense to much to handle for Spruce Creek.
Apopka 34 @ Seminole 35   Seminoles passing attack helps them edge out Apopka in a shootout. 
Boone 17 @ Flagler Palm Coast 24   Don't know to much about FPC but i'll give them the nod.
Lake Mary 21 @ Wekiva 18   My upset pick in region 1, Lake Mary Sneaking by Wekiva on a late Field Goal.

Manatee 14 @ Osceola 35   Osceola to much for manatee
Davenport Ridge 24 @ Dr. Phillips 21   My upset pick in region 2, Ridge gets a late score to move on.
Gateway 10 @ Sarasota Riverview 38   Sarasota handles gateway 
Olympia 21 @ Vero Beach 31   I see Olympia giving Vero a good game but falling short.
 
Right now I like the winner of the Seminole & Winter Park game in region 1, and Vero/Osceola in region 2. My pick would be Winter Park and Osceola for the final four as of right now. 

Still in the 1st quarter but Miramar up 13-0. St Thomas looking really vulnerable right now. But heres a link to take a look.

Very sloppy. The center was terrible, probably couldn't block my 10 year old. Defense and special teams looked good.

Osceola 23 Lake Gibson 14 Final
Osceolas Offense looked very sloppy shot themselves in the foot with many penalties that killed there drives. Defensive wise they played sound just missed alot of tackles, other then that sound win for Osceola.

They can run the ball. They also aren't getting any help on the road (wink,wink)

As for the defense they still have some learning and work to do but looked good in FCA camp this past week, expecting that D to hit there stride early on in the season.

If they beat DP then they are definitely in states they'll beat the breaks off of Seminole

My kowboys season is over, they def deserved to lose that one.. On the bright side Osceola will have about 15 starters coming back, Always next year lol..

Yes once Winter Haven got down 24-0, they started to look sluggish, sloopy and tried to force the throws.. Plant all over them...

Manatee can beat DP if DP has an off game like they did against Olympia. Panthers haven't missed the second round since 2005.
 
I believe 8A North will crown either Apopka, DP, Seminole or Osceola. Vero Beach is #5 to me still.
 
Any of those five would compete in the title against the south.

Im saying this because 8A is down.. Don't see Apopka, DP, or Osceola being that strong, it's anyones game this year...For all I know it could be Seminole vs Vero in semis for example....

In 2007 when they were in the same district as: Osceola and Lakeland (which started the season with the longest win streak in Florida). Lake Gibson was without a doubt one of the three best team in 5A North but did not make the playoffs as Lakeland and Osceola did. They had a big time receiver who caught anything within his range.
 
Osceola handed Lakeland two losses that year; first for district championship and then in the second round of the playoffs. That Osceola team had the best high school skill player I have ever seen in Central Florida on it (Bubba Brown). IT gave St. Thomas a decent game in the state final despite being much depleted due to injury (T. Bell, the QB and safety who went on to play at Auburn, on the sidelines, and Bubba Brown playing at 50%). Had Bubba Brown not had significant off the field issues, there is no doubt in my mind he would have played on Sundays. The kid was a beast and even injured, gnashed ST. Thomas for a long touchdown run.
