Sad that this should not be "Unthinkable", but rather good faith effort in support of "Fair Play".  It obviously should also carry some repercussions for the refs because 4 consecutive rulings that are all wrong favoring one team shows "INTENT".  Any of us can make a mistake and refs are no different, so I hesitate to judge others for being human.  This case is clearly egregious.

I agree just never know which way the FHSAA will rule. Also looks like Venice coaches are trolling as well lol.

I was thinking about picking what he picks, but then that means I can never catch him. Lol

I was tempted to say take my STA win away out of emotion the other day but I'll use my better judgment and keep that win unless the unimaginable happens and that game gets overturned or forfeited lmao I have better odds of winning the lottery.

    Some observations from last night.

Kissimmee Osceola is improving and, in a few weeks, will look like contenders in 4S. They will get their rb crew back from injury and be just fine. But with that said...

Treasure Coast is the absolute clear favorite in 4S right now. Their defense is just unbelievable. They held Sanford Seminole to 9 points and 2 of them came from a safety off of a bad snap.

Manatee could be right behind them. They have yet to play an extremely tough opponent yet, though. We will see what they are made of when they play Venice week 7.

Lakeland is 1-2 but has no reason to press the panic button yet. Their losses have come to extremely tough opponents in SJP and Miami Norland.

Cocoa is going to slaughter 2S and it will be infuriating to finish 14-1 when 15-0 was right there.

Dillard is heading in the wrong direction and will not challenge STA this year.

Daytona Mainland is the clear favorite in 3S after containing Bartram Trail's offense.

Venice needs to find whatever spark they had against TBT and reignite it fast.

Sarasota Riverview's offense looks potent. This could be the year they finally challenge Venice for the district.

    Miami Central is Miami Central.

Chaminade and TCA are heading for a rematch in 1M.

Poinciana is heading in the right direction.

CCC looks good, but will they challenge TCA in 1M? The jury is still out.

I agree with your assessment.  Also will add that Palm Bay Heritage will underachieve due to their schedule eventhough they will be undefeated heading into the playoffs they will get booted in the second or third round. If they were able to have a more challenging schedule they would've been able to challenge and make a state run in 4S. With their toughest game on their schedule being Oviedo I don't see it happening unless their able to find a way to keep progressing and evolving playing against a highly favorable schedule

STA should have travelled to Cocoa for this game. Cocoa had to travel to them both times.

I'm guessing it's the same arrangement they had with Venice. 2 away and one home lol first game blowout, second game close loss on controversy in last seconds. Third game decisive win lmao

I feel for Cocoa. Teams should lose on the field of play. Not like this. Enough said.

Crazy part is that it's Cocoa's QB 3rd ever start/game on varsity and he threw for 500 yards and 5tds against a nationally ranked team. Putting him at over 1000 yards passing and 10tds in just 3 games.

All around incredible game and performances by both teams ultimately being overshadowed by the last minute and a half of the game.

After STA having no timeouts and Cocoa having no time taken off the clock after taking a knee? And you see nothing wrong with that… Come on Flotech you’re better than this. If Vero lost a game this way, how would you feel?

Here's video proof of the whole sequence and a pic from the Hudl sideline vid of STA with 12 players on the field during Cocoa's punt where the flag was waved off. @Jambun82 honest opinion on this sequence. Do you feel like everyone is wrong about the refs during this sequence?

This Brady Heart QB kid that Cocoa has is the real. I'm calling it right now, 2 years from now, he will be a top 10 recruit in the class of 2026! Bookmark this comment @KeemD321 @LetsGo @Cat_Scratch2 @Cocoafanone

He definitely grew into his own after the Jones game and has been cleaning up his mistakes each game. Played lights out against Venice and did the same against STA. Also his top receiver is just a junior this season as well. Put up 200+ yards receiving and 3 tds matched up against 5 star Charles Lester and did the same against STA but with a few more yards and 4 TD catches

Didn’t Coach Schneider or anyone on Cocoa’s sideline try to stop this from happening? The FHSAA needs to investigate this game and if (when,) cheating is found, declare Cocoa the rightful winner and make STA forfeit the game due to a conflict of interest with the GC operator.

I'm in twitter spaces with coaches and players involved and they said the refs refused to run the clock. Even STA HC apologized for the officiating. First kneel only 1 sec ran off the clock when in the rule book 3 secs are supposed to come off. The QB took a knee and was hit. Penalty called wasn't the correct call of a deadball unsportsmanlike conduct on Cocoa's 3rd down. Which should've been an automatic 1st down

The game clock operator who managed this game needs to be thoroughly investigated and terminated. There was no mathematical way for STA to win if they had no timeouts and Cocoa was in victory formation with under 1:30 to go. Very little time comes off, and then they get a penalty to stop the clock?  No conflict of interest there, right? What a sick joke. Forces beyond their control ripped one of Cocoa’s biggest wins in school history right out of their hands and handed it to crybaby STA.

Yea all the reporters from the game including Jon Santucci is talking about it and saying there was no way STA should've even had time to even get the ball back let alone 30+ seconds

Shame really, I did not see Cocoa losing after STA turned it over on downs. Less than a minute 30, STA with one timeout left and a Cocoa 1st down. How did STA get the ball back?

From watching the audio cast on BSN it was showing the scoreboard the whole time little to no time was taken off the clock on 2 of the kneels. STA got the ball back with about 34 seconds on the clock

1:28 left on the clock and cocoa 1st down. STA had one timeout…Mathematically how did STA get the ball back? Cocoa QB took a snap on first down, took three steps back, knelt the ball and one second ran off the clock….we all know what happened. STA homecooking. That was a sham of an ending. I give STA and the officials credit though. They weren’t even hiding it!

Don't forget that the last timeout was used when STA got stopped on third down. Check the scoreboard as well. The timeouts for them was 0 when Cocoa stopped them on 4th down. After the penalty on Cocoa possession the clock got didn't move. Then the clock went to 4min then changed to 1:28. They ruined an amazing game and took away one of the top wins in Brevard history

  12. Cocoa literally gave that game away on their final possession with the victory formation and unsportsmanlike conduct. Gave away their biggest victory in recent history. Came down to those 2 missed extra points and blocked fg. Then on top of that still had the chance to come away with a 2 point victory and let it slip out of their hands with poor clock management and a possible 4th timeout from STA

STA finna do Cocoa dirty, it's a difference between SJB and Cocoa, Cocoa don't play well in Broward or Dade......

They aren't favored against Broward or Dade but half the time it's a good game other than STA, a couple BTW matchups, one USchool game, and one Gibbons game. And we can throw in when they hosted Central the same season they were blown out by USchool
