Very difficult choice but a great one to have. Two great games on paper. Hope they both live up to the hype!

I saw Willie Williams up close when I was a sophomore, we played Carol City in the playoffs. We scored 7 points, every other team they played combined to score 3 that playoffs lol. That defense was crazy. Him, Kenny Phillips, Ricky Jean Francois, Vernon Wilder.
Besides Willie, Deionte Thompson (the one from Texas thats at Alabama now, not the Glades Central one)

on defense it would be hard to find a more dominating player than Willie Williams, the nastiest player on the nastiest defense...Carol City '03...one of the best players ever in Florida to not go pro  
 

As far as why the district is so weak, there are different reasons for different teams. For instance:
-Westland is just in an area devoid of talent and the school doesn't really care to have a good football team. God bless their coach, but he's got nothing there
-Miami Springs consistently has a top 3 team in the district as far as talent, but their coaching isn't strong; and I think they were poached pretty heavy this offseason by other schools for their players
- Mater and Doral pretty much depend on recruiting and when that doesn't work, you're going to see how they can't do anything (like I think they'll be this year)
-Mourning has talent, but again not great coaching and their numbers I hear are down
-Reagan is always gonna be a tough, ground and pound team. Never special, but always well coached. Can't do enough to win the district usually.
-Goleman has been the same, but they will open it up more this season. Talent is there, if they can put it all together it can be a special season
-South Miami had a nice season last year, this year they have some big time recruits. But their QB from last year is gone. He made them tick. If they don't have a capable replacement they won't do much. If they do find one, they could contend for the district.
-Sunset was fairly talented, I hear they lost a lot to graduation. Coaching isn't great to me. Every so often they have a really nice year. I don't see this year being that year though.

Best that they do that. It was gonna be tough for them to win with the crew they had before transfers. It would have been flat out unsafe with the squad they have now.

I think a few of them were at Norland. So it's possible they go back there. Now this is pure speculation on my part lol take it all with a grain of salt. The coach that they followed to Doral mysteriously and coincidentally is off Twitter now.

Also, I told y’all look out for Jackson. That’s before they got Fuller. I think they could challenge AHP and Gibbons for the district title now.

Nah most of the players that have transferred out are gone now. There could be one or two more but nothing like the start of the summer.
They have decent numbers. They’ll be very young in most spots but there is some talent there

I just moved to Alabama and while I haven't been here for a football season, I'll give a few thoughts:
-One reason why the publics dont have as much worry as the publics is that there is a separate organization for the privates (AISA). Now there are privates that play in the AHSAA, not sure what the stipulations are on them playing there though.
-In the short time that I've been here, transferring is not nearly the issue it is in Florida. I've seen a couple kids tweet about transferring but not many.
-Some stuff is tough to evaluate in my opinion, but I think the coaching in Alabama probably helps equal out whatever talent disparity there may be between FL and AL. They pay coaches better here, head coaches are ADs, just like in Texas.
-The top schools in AL can definitely compete with the top schools in FL. And keep in mind, a 6A in Alabama would be closer to 4A in Florida.

Probably couldn't get kids to transfer in like they had. Just a guess. If they're depending on just the talent in Weston to win games, they're going to be what they've been the last few seasons.
