As we leave Tallahassee, the total number of people who attended is 8,024.
That is a higher amount than any of the last 8 years (when 1A-Rural started). I will admit that I am kind of disappointed that 1A didn't break 5K on Saturday night. The only class that did worse than the average is 2A, by about 400, but 1A and 3A beat their averages by 1300 and 900. Overall, it looks like the FHSAA was right to chose Tallahassee if the goal was higher attendance.
I remember attending this game, it was my senior year in high school, with my football teammates. We were sitting on the Southeast side, and those fans were getting might nervous when Daunte Culpepper led the Knights down the field to try to win the game.
