The Fort Lauderdale Hurricanes (formerly Pembroke Pines Optimist) made a national statement last week going out to Dallas, TX and taking on a U14 Texas team that had not lost in 5 years.  The result:

This is the same team (PPO)  that played and soundly defeated Snoop Dog's Los Angeles team last year in the U13 Division.

Finally a huge break for Miramar.  2018 WR/DB Jamal Walton has transferred from Everglades to Miramar.
 
Walton is a burner.  For those that know anything about track times, Walton has run a 21.4 200 meter and a 45.9 400 meter.  He'll run a 4.4 for fun!

Agree with all you say in this... 8A south will be down a bit... But to me it comes down to DFB and The Ridge leaning towards DFB.... With the Ridge they have all the talent in the world but it comes down to dline and oline... I would say they have more talent then MC but MC would still dominate them in the trenches.... Then your gonna have a solid Columbus squad then Miramar and Flannigan which I have Flannigan reaching the second rd...Matt Strout was basically a devil coaching.. He screwed that program up... But Miramar is having the problems of keeping their players to stay put.. Plus you have Carol City rising back up so that county line battle is leaning towards Carol City again

I feel bad for the real posters on there that get overshined by the people who just on there to talk, like the one who changed name to the political person and started turning that board into election 2016

I'm aware that the Chaminade players decided to transfer back into Chaminade after the financial aid situation was fixed.
 
So, now the question is- What to do with them. I'm aware that Damon Jones, Coach Laine and Coach Columbi are excellent coaches, but this was really Jason Milgrom team.
 
I think Chaminade jumps back into the 4 spot, but the 3 programs above them are more stable now.
 
I think Chaminade even with the new coach is better than Oxbridge and Tampa Catholic.
 
I'll mull it over for a bit. I gotta check to see if CCC landed the Presley kid.

You got to understand FLFB there are just certain teams out there that columbiahighfan2016 want to see lose or hear people bring them down.  It makes him feel better.  There is something that Armwood has almost every year that Columbiahighfan2016  wants - a chance at States!  He recently called Armwood "chokers" for losing to National power Miami Central 3 years in a row.  This is coming from a COLUMBIA fan - calling another team "chokers" .  Shall we remind him of Columbia's history and opportunities?  Most recently 7A with Osceola now gone and Lakeland down in recent years..lol.  Last year was the golden opportunity for Columbia!

Matt Strout was the curse to that program.  They have not been the same since he arrived.  Yeah, they lost transfers to BTW, Miami Central and possibly Jackson and Carol City.  Zoe Boy can probably confirm that.

South Dade/Coral Gables were both very solid programs last year.  They both lost about 8 D1 players to graduation and each probably return a couple at most.  I did hear Coral Gables got a DB transfer from Columbus (Marlin Brooks) and a couple other good players but they won't be on the level they were last year.  If they are record-wise it is because 8A South is down or at least those Districts are.  South Dade will be average at best this year.  Zoe Boy should be able to confirm my thoughts on this when he reads it.

Why does have to be repping Armwood? He's just simply stating his opinion. For some reason Armwood pumps fear into 6A north teams before they even hit the field. So what makes VG and PF any different? One thing I'd noticed about you is you have this "I am always right" mentality and if anyone goes against what you say, you will go on and on for pages and pages of posts. Dude get over yourself! I will tell you just like I told a poster on DJ's board...This ain't ESPN and you ain’t getting paid for this! You ain't gotta be right all the time.

I rep the state, however Armwood is a program I have always liked over the years because I loved their defenses in their heyday
