Vanguard 31 - Gainesville 24  . Just as I thought. Gainesville gave Vanguard a game. Citizens field in Gainesville is a tough place to play. It's a huge stadium and is usually packed. I would love to see the stats.

Yea... But you may not get as many chances to score 40 if their running game is eating up some of the clock.

In what should have been a much worse game Dillard won their 4th consecutive game and moved to (3-0) in district play idk if this gave them the district championship or we have to sweep next week but for now Dillard have a winning record for the first time this season at 4-3 and looks to go to 5-3 next week vs Boynton Beach

I don't think that's the problem. Rather, I think the problem is some of these programs have Freshman, JV and Varsity programs and just load all three rosters onto the varsity roster section on MaxPreps. 

Yes, I understand that. But the FHSAA has a contract with Maxpreps, now. As such, you would think that they would change the way the system works to fulfill its obligation. But even if this were not so, if you represent yourself as providing accurate information, you should do better. Either that or state a clear disclaimer on your website with regards the accuracy of any information posted. A lot of individuals use Maxpreps thinking the data is reasonably accurate.

Maxpreps doesn't input that info your coaches or team does I do it for fort white after every week update the stats and all that if your teams isn't looking right its cause your team isn't putting the info in. If apokas roster is 100+ plus somone hasn't cleaned the old players off and just kept adding new ones to it.

Dunnellon was up 15 in the 4th quarter against Madison and let it slip away 24-21. However, don't think they will have much trouble the rest of the way with the exception of possibly Baker County. Dunnellon is a very good balanced team.

newberry got surprised by eastside who is actually won 3 straight games, if eastside beats belleview they will win district since eastside just beat north marion this past week

Not sure .  They were good in 2008 (perhaps top 50), and lost to a very good Bolles team at States.  They have been a pretty consistent program and usually win most of the the games they are capable of.  

Newberry is down a bit this year as well but still appear to be a decent team(no pushover).    If Trenton is not able to hang with them, then I will adjust accordingly.
What I am noticing is it appears the depth in 3A runs deeper then 4A right now. 

They only play one 4a team all year south Sumter who is way down from last year everything else is 1A teams like bell Branford Bronson chiefland and Hamilton all should be 40+ wins the PK young another 40 plus win newberry we will see this Friday.

Broward I usally agree with you but hard not to be on the rise with their schedule only good team on it is Dixie 1a and lafayette1a other then that there schedule is weak and come playoffs they will not be tested or ready for 4a IMO. Not the same Trenton from the last few years.

Not sure how good Union County is but they generally solid 

we are in same place Columbia is  just rember that. With Union 5-1 and Dixie 6-0 are next two games and then Newberry after these three we will know where were at. Yes we lost to taylor and hope we see them in playoffs just like Columbia hopes to see Lee again.

I thought I would give a summary of tonight's game, since Columbiafan does it their games .  Autauga is a very impressive team ,big fast, and well coached, one of the player's father told me they had 8 players with D1 offers.  Autauga jumped out early and built a 21-0 lead halfway through the first quarter.  PSJ fought back and dominated the 2nd quarter and tied the game at 21 going into halftime.  AA came out and controlled the 3rd quarter building a 42-21 lead.  PSJ played well in the 4th but just didn't have the horses to defeat Autauga.  45-28 Final.  PSJ showed a lot of fight and left it all on the field.  Special teams was the biggest difference in the game with AA returning 2 punts for TDs and had a couple of long KO returns, the AA placekicker consistently put KOs thru the endzone.  PSJ should not see any team of this caliber again unless they reach the 1A finals.  Proud of St Joe for fighting til the end.

That is incorrect. They are allowed to make limited income which is usually on campus jobs that they never need to show up for.  -- Been there, done that.
 
Pell grants are also 4 - 5,000 pretty good pocket change they you can take on top of your full scholarship.  If you make a bowl you are getting at least 500 in gift cards.
 
Life is not so bad being on a full ride at a SEC school...
 

Dixie will not put a fight up on Madison.  Madison win by least 28
Taylor vs Dixie tho should be a very good game both teams evenly Matched IMO.
 
 

LOL didn't know Columbia was in the panhandle.

Dixie is looking like the better 1A team around this area right now.
 

Idk we had success running on Lee I'm not sure what they thinking to abandon run in redzone

I asked same thing to the coach who came by and got my son for practice yesterday just got power today he said Taylor Co super  called and still wanted to play and I guess we where given the ok to practice today and yesterday and go play the game Friday.
