Having AP voters decide would be an awful idea and I'll explain why:
When I worked as a sports reporter in TX, I was an AP voter for HS football. I wasn't in a major metro (Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio). But everyone tries to squeeze some teams from their area in with some votes. But Texas is such a big state that it's guaranteed you haven't seen enough teams to have an informed vote on who the top 10 is in every single class. A lot of times you just end up going with who you see most other ppl are voting for or how the voting went the prior week. You may have the best 10 teams in a class, but you may be missing somebody bc they're 8 hours away in West TX or something.
Florida isn't that big, but to relate it to here, you'd be asking voters from the Panhandle to determine who the best teams in South Florida are, SW Gulf Coast voters to do the same for Jacksonville/Daytona Beach schools. Chances are they haven't even seen YouTube highlights of most of these teams.
There's no perfect system for the playoffs but in my opinion, a BCS style system is way less perfect than what we have now.

Now I know why I don't believe it, he contradicts himself. In one post he says people secretly did not support him at South Dade, then he says SD has nothing to do with it. 

A little more insight into the transfer I guess:
In his next tweet, Jerry said that South Dade didn't have anything to do with Morrison transferring. Not sure I believe that but it doesn't matter.

I've seen both of them play. Both definitely have flaws, but I think Miami will have a little more athleticism tonight. I'm gonna predict a relatively low scoring game, like 21-14 Miami. Johnny Ford will be the difference-maker again.

Atlantic set the tone with the opening kickoff going for a touchdown. All in all, Atlantic's special teams and defense made the difference (3 TDs on D/ST). Their offense is average at best, very surprising considering the talent they have. But the defense is legit (forced 5 turnovers). Western fell behind for the 3rd straight game, but like the U, you can't keep doing it and expect it to not come back to bite you.
Miami/Atlantic next week should be a barnburner.

If it's true, we have to see if he makes it through the whole offseason at Carol City. He did transfer to Miramar in the offseason going into his sophomore season only to transfer back to BTW. But if he stays, that's definitely huge for CC.

I would say Atlantic this year is probably a slightly better or maybe Senior-laden version of DFB .  Mostly defensive oriented and just offense sprinkled in to gash or out-athlete most teams with broken plays or by spreading the field.
I agree that next week's match should be a good one.  These teams almost seem to match one another with Miami High's quick strike Offense versus Atlantic's Defense.  Outside of Miramar, probably the most most team speed from all 8A South with these two.

Of course someone decides to take it to the total opposite extreme. That is a lot of carries for one game. If he was up for it, which it seems he was, then cool, go for it. But you're talking about 2 or 3 games worth of carries in one game, I can see why that's looked at as a lot.
If he doesn't have a good game against DP, I certainly wouldn't be surprised.
