Yes, Fritz Pollard was the first black player and coach in the NFL in the 1920's. Now, the Fritz Pollard Alliance is the group of former NFL coaches that works with on more opportunities for black coaches in the NFL. I had heard that you were friends with him, but I cannot confirm that at this time. lol

I believe that Coach Pat Brown can get players to play at Seabreeze, especially defensive players. The real question in my mind is whether or not Seabreeze can keep him coaching at the school, and not leaving for greener pastures. 

That was a long time ago. Maybe Mainland and Seabreeze  can get back to those attendance figures with Travis Roland and Pat Brown, two very good high school football coaches, leading the Buccaneers and Sandcrabs. 

The Lake Gibson head coach that recently resigned from that position is now the head coach at Flagler Palm Coast High School. 

I cannot remember any specific incidents. I am sure that there are many situations that have been captured on camera, and the FHSAA took action.

Yes, any players leaving the bench area for a fight or throwing a punch is an automatic ejection for a least one game. There is no set amount of games that any player would be suspended for because the FHSAA determines the punishment on the situation, and reserves the right to punish as it sees fit.

Hello, and welcome to this message board. I was wondering how you would describe the state of High School Football in the Old Dominion State? How is the officiating, the coaching, the state Association etc? Also, what part of Virginia do you coach and teach? Thank you for your military service. 

Yes, that is true Perspective lol. However, I meant when coaches are in a relaxed, unemotional, thoughtful frame of mind. Also, when they have had a chance to view the game film. and see the entirety of any situation that occurs during a game. 

If you have no idea what the Edgewater staff or players are or are not doing, I don't believe that it is a good idea to even speculate about that word that you emphasized. I have seen firsthand that the Eagles have a great coaching staff, and overall program. That is probably a big reason why many top players in the area want to be a part of that experience. 

I will be happy to acknowledge it and talk about it. High School players want to be coached up, and get the most out of their High School experience. Good for them and I support their decisions.

Northwestern was in 5A, and Central was in 6A the last two years, so that has been reversed.
