Can’t wait to watch the conquerors play. Going to be a joy watching them get back to the 1A state championship vs CMD!

Jesse reacted to JaxTCA2010stateCHAMP in Jax TCA WR core is pretty big this year
Was looking at Jax TCA updates roster and we got some big WRs
    Tomarion mccray 6'5 225 Sr
    Joshua moricette 6,3 175 Jr
    Miles Burris 6'2 185 Jr
    Seth bialek 6'4 185 Sr
Their are a few more Wrs that are smaller fast guys.
We have the #1 Qb in the 2025 class in Colin hurley.
With those big targets for hurley, I think Jax TCA might have a lot of matchup advantage against other teams on there schedule..
Just my opinion, haven't seen all the wrs play yet !

Pahokee is going to beat every team above them! End of the year, Pahokee will be the best team in Palm Beach County! Well Willington and Santaluces is not on the schedule

Tampa Bay Area has a couple contenders this season….TBT and Jesuit should be favored to at least get to Semis. The two wild cards are Armwood and Wharton. Armwood has got a nice transfer from Pasco county (go figure) and one from from Tampa Catholic. Wharton could very well contend for a state title. They recruited better than Jimbo at A&M….3 QB’s, a 3*DE, a 3*DB, and the biggest fish in Stacey Gage from IMG. #2 RB IN 2024. Thoughts on Hillsborough side of things anyone?? Oh and I believe TBT, Armwood, and Wharton are in the same district….

Jesse reacted to skyway in The hardest team to project, by far,
is Clearwater Academy International. Most all of their players are from other countries, and are complete unknowns within Florida. The team may not win a game at all, or it may be about what it was last year (blew out Raines at Raines, lost in OT at Trinity Christian) or it could be a monster. Looking at their hudl roster, they have more than 20 players with over 1,000 views per player. That's about the same as loaded Lakeland, and is more than most every other team in the state (STA has 36). They also have a unique style of play from what I've seen. They go for two all the time, and kick onsides a lot as well (though maybe they just lacked a reliable kicker last year?). I'm hoping they win all of their early games, and come to Bryant stadium undefeated. Could be a big game!

Hello old friend.  I see that the Golden Eagles have a very nice schedule this year.  I was at the playoff game against MNW last year and noticed their defense was young but they can still run up the numbers on offense. Playing a talented Lehigh team along with Venice, Killian and AHP in the regular season should have them ready for the playoffs.  I'm real interested in seeing how this season works out for them.  As you know, I'm a FM person first but will always be a fan of your program. Hope to see you in week 1.  Good luck this year and rep SWFL well.

You probably won't have to be concerned about Fort Myers.  We have a very young group that might be ready next year or the year after.  We have Aquinas at home in week 2 so I'm hoping we can still field a team after that.  We need to hook-up this year.  Hope to see you soon

Just a few days until fall practice starts and the perfect champ man from last season (yours truly) releases the biggest preseason preview I've ever done as I broke down classifications, regions, districts, and did tier and numerical rankings for the entire state

Expect it Monday night or Tuesday afternoon!! You won't want to miss it! #FootballIsHere

Late 80’s into the 2002 season DILLARD was nothing to be played with. So to see us getting back to that brings a tear or two to my eye lol hahahahaha.

Two years ago we lost a real good running back to transfer after he played the first 2 games with us before attending a private school, so yes the wild west is alive and well.  Just that it slows to a crawl now with the season upon us.  Our 1st practice is Monday morning, where Lakeland may be in the PM.

The documentary reflected the high hopes the coaching staff had for a state title after reaching the finals the previous year, mostly because of a throwing QB in Chad Mascoe.    I never bought into that because of the clear youth and inexperience of our OL, with one returning starter (McCrimon) while having zero varsity experience with any other member of that position group.   The script is flipped this year with all those underclassmen returning plus the 2 additional OL transfers that will make an impact, so it will be a strength rather than a weakness.  Plus we have improved in the kicking game as well.  The defense virtually returns intact losing only 2 DB's, Jeremiah Wilson going to Syracuse and Kaylon Walters to Charleston Southern. Lamont Lee an excellent LB had to go the JuCo route and we will miss him.  We may go a decade without a 4* athlete and this team has 3;  Bo Mascoe is considered a 3* yet in my opinion he is our best DB while John Walker undoubtedly will end up a 5*.  I didn't see an "Esteem" issue with the offense, just youth (9th & 10th graders) and no varsity experience.  It showed against the real good defensive fronts we played as those top teams usually beat you in the trenches.   Going forward they won't be overwhelmed like last year.  Thus my outlook for this season.

The potential of Lakeland and Osceola playing each other twice brings back some memories, some good, some not so much!
Recent experiences informs that we won't have any clue what the rosters will look like until everyone is accounted for Monday afternoon. Still noticing some movement on Twitter, hudl etc. It is the wild west!

Lots of good ballplayers for the Kowboys!
I'm finishing up watching last season's Youtube documentary now.  It's interesting to see the coaches be very aware of the disparity that existed between that team's offense and defense. The "self-esteeem" of the defense was much higher than that of the offense. I guess the young OL had a lot to do with that?

Realistically if Columbia can go 5-0 with that schedule they probably will head into the playoffs undefeated

Second half of the schedule is a bit lighter with the three district games and Gadsden County

We’ve been getting close to 6-8 transfers in each year over the last 2-3 years which is why the last 3 years have been Dillards best stretch consecutively in over a decade plus.

but this year has been by far the most in a long time since stuff like this were able to be tracked. And for us to be a public school smack dead in the middle of STA 1.2 miles away. Gibbons 3 miles away. AHP, 6 miles away. Chaminade 5.5 miles away. That’s impressive Dillard could even remain relevant let alone competitive especially on an elite level.

That I agree with. I was mentioning on the scale when you were mentioning in broward STA,GB,AHP, CM all being popular schools to draw in transfers, which they are.

all I’m saying is we can no longer ignore the fact that Dillard has become a popular place as well. NOW will that turn into a championship run this year. We will see.

With STA, Miami Central and Chaminade on the schedule I wouldn't say anyone should go 3-0 with that stretch

Hell IMG this year would probably go 1-2 or 0-3 with that stretch
