The Tragic Story of Willie Williams & Highlight Video

Willie Williams may just be the best Florida high school player ever not to go pro.  He was as good as any high school linebacker I have ever seen.  The way he covered the field for a guy his size was amazing.  This is a highlight video of him.   About 40 seconds into the video you will see Willie crush Edgewater's qb, knocking him out of the 2003 state title game, which was won by Carol City.  The rap music in the background is very raw, so turn down the volume if you are offended by that sort of thing.  The article at the link below tells Willie's tragic story.

He broke his collar bone with that play. The play singlehandedly determined the outcome of the game. For Edgewater's other two QBs were not game ready.
