What Will the Polls Look Like in 10-20 Years?

Back in the 1970's and 1980's, Panhandle teams played in the largest classes and had the upper hand at the state final series.  The Panhandle cities did not grow much, but south Florida sure did, and 20 years later, those same Panhandle teams were playing in lower classes and south Florida teams had risen to prominence in the upper classes.

Growth in Miami-Dade and Broward has slowed while central Florida has exploded.  There are already more Orlando-area schools in 7A/8A than Miami-Dade schools(35 Orlando vs 31 Miami-Dade).  New schools like Braden River, Viera and Wekiva have come on line since 2005 and are already solid programs.  ....another area of growth over the past 20 years...south of Jacksonville... Bartram Trail, Fleming Island and Ponte Vedra all came on line between 2000-2008 and have had good success.  It does not seem the newer south Florida schools have been able to achieve high-level, sustainable success to the same extent as their northern counterparts.

It is predicted that Orlando will be an area of continued growth and job opportunity...one of the fastest in the country.   What will things look like in 10 years?  20 years?  Will there be a shift in power with central Florida teams taking home a greater share of the hardware?

I feel a lot of areas are going to get packed into higher classifications

Schools like bartram trail and viera will be in highest classification within next 2 cycles, those areas are growing

Central Florida is also growing heavy so i see a lot of central Florida and South Florida packing the higher classifications with tons of teams which might push North Florida teams more down the classification ladder (unless they change how classifications are made between now and then)
