Not trying to be funny but is it me or the south Florida offenses are Plain and vanilla as hell ?

Move seen a plethora of football in my time in and out of state and Florida don’t even compare.

its like we just depend on and hope we out race or out athlete the other team by basically heaving the Ball 60 yards down field every other play or a slant route to the sideline and hope your wr or Rb can turn the corner and go the distance ...

like literally that’s all u see with schools like btw Miami central cc mnw they live and die by the deep ball now you have Deerfield following suit especially wen u have a qb 9-15 over 200 yards.

i guess what ever works right ? But where is the REAL X’s And O’s??? Without it your gonna get out coached more then you win just on pure athleticism.

Tall QB with tall receivers.  Run the receivers down field and the lop the ball too them because the receiver has a height advantage over most defensive backs.   I see it a bunch.   OldSchoolLion made a post about how Florida doesn't produce quarterbacks that much.  I think its because, like you said, they just try and out athlete, our guy is faster and taller than your guy, rather than really coach and develop the skills a quarterback should have.

Right

The WR in that video is 6'1 and a senior.  The DB who pulled down the interception is 5'5" and a freshman.  They had picked on the kid a few times too many that night. He read that play like a pro.

    • Yes nolebull813, I know, like all the others, what an honor and privilege it is for you to talk with me! You're welcome for that honor and privilege!
