Like I said we will see how good they really are. They have a pretty tough non-district schedule so if Oxbridge comes into the 3A playoffs with a very good record they will have earned it. 

Oxbridge Academy I believe has Carol City week 2. We will find out how good they are then lol. 

I'd be totally down with playing Central. Sure Aquinas and Central would both have something to lose, but I'm about winning state titles. A perfect season is nice, but if Aquinas wins a state championship with 1 loss and that loss coming to Central or visa versa I don't think anyone would be complaining. 

Until Osceola develops a passing game it's hard for me to see them challenging an elite team for a title. 

Being totally honest I would rank Miami Central ahead of Aquinas. With that being said since IMG cannot make the playoffs and play mostly OOS opponents I wouldn't really rank them, but that's just me. 
I also feel that Plant should be around 20-25 with their QB now done for the year....that is a serious blow to them. 

Programs like BTW reload. Very excited for this game. Harriott will have Aquinas ready to go that much I do know. 

I agree with Tigerfan. You gotta prove yourself Columbia fan ,but stay postive. We in the same boat. Were climbing up the ranks back where we be long at the top.
 
As for Mr.Cat Scratch,We'll say thats approximately 75% correct in my opinion.

I would think both would be pretty good. As long as Corky is on the sidelines Bolles has a chance. 

Miramar with coaching and discipline would've beaten STA last year and that is a FACT. I am not afraid to admit that. I too hope Miramar does well this year I feel like SFLA football is better with Miramar playing well. 

Let me say this. I attended all 3 games St. Thomas, American Heritage and Flanagan and I gotta say Miramar had those 3 in all phases of the ball. The reason why Miramar lost was due to lack of discipline and coaching. I can tell anybody and bet money on it that if coach Cogdell was still running things we would have went 10-0. When these boys start transferring from one school to another I completely get it because of coaching. I can't remember which opponent it was St. Thomas or American Heritage, but I just know it was a home game and you could literally see one of Miramar players acting out of control and wasn't listening to any of the coaches. As a spectator like everyone else sitting in the stands we're all in shock for the fact that we never witnessed something like this before or at least I haven't.

I think Miramar has a strong bid in 8A as well. The 8A South will definitely be interesting to watch that is for sire 

To my knowledge they have not. Central guys have also been very vocal about it as well. I think an Aquinas/Central matchup at Traz Powell would be awesome! Or at Joe Robbie if they cannot fit the crowd there.

I don't think DLS would've won 50 in a row playing in South Florida at that time of their streak. Too many good teams and too much talent. They played and still play no one up in Northern California 

@STARaiders2014 If you're looking at your roster yes you lost a lot to graduation. Maurice Alexander, Antonio Callaway, Mark Walton and Vaquan Smalls which are big holes to feel as well as others. Yes talent came in but who's to say there good. Remember transfers came from Miami Springs, Gulliver Prep, Pace and Northwestern but I'm just speaking in general terms I know these transfers are good. So now if you're a coach I'm sure you're trying to keep whatever pieces you have because you lost one to St. Thomas and Central which is why I understand why a coach would steep to this level. I think it's inappropriate but I understand it.

That is a little surprising if coaches are having to stop kids from transferring. I know they lost a lot to graduation, but I still expect them to be a very good team this season. 
However, if there is ever a time for Central to not just beat BTW, but win a national title this is the year.

What angers me about IMG is they had the audacity to ask the state for I think 2 million dollars in the budget and they were going to get it until the Governor said no. 
How can you honestly give that school $2 million when we have schools like Stranahan in SFLA who are falling apart at the seems and cannot even get money to put new roofs on. That is a joke. 

Do you consider Live Oak Swuanne(spelled wrong) a dynasty because they won 4 in a row from 87-90 then were irrelevant until about 10 years later.

1997 6A Title game between Lake City Columbia and Miami Carol City. The Chiefs going for their 2nd title in a row with Columbia making their first appearance in 30yrs!

By the way look at the Columbia fan base at this game. I know it was close to Gainsville, but THAT IS A CROWD!!

That is true Josh. I think Trenton has a pretty solid team this season though. While it wouldn't shock me to see them get beat by one of those teams, it also wouldn't shock me to see them take it all the way

Not totally surprised by the drop off with Madison County. They didn't look strong a couple of weeks ago in the scrimmages at Fort White and I believe this all ties into one thing of their enrollment being down. People wanted to complain, but I think they are about to see Madison might just be a non-factor in who advances to state this year. I think at this point is really anyone's game for 1A still and people pushed the panic button before the first snaps were taken.

My money is on Trenton in 2015 to make another run to Orlando. I think they can win it all too!

That is very true! Is Duval Charter really a worthy opponent or more so a test to see where Columbia needs to improve?
