Lakeland comes into this game after a solid win against Wiregrass Ranch. Plant blew out Winter Haven. Lakeland has been an erratic team this year, sometimes even within the same game. If they can minimize the mental mistakes and penalties, they can challenge Plant. But they can't have a 4 fumble performance (Kathleen), or spot their opponent a 23-7 lead (Winter Haven) and expect to even be close. 
Last year, Lakeland won this matchup on the strength of a first half passing game and a second half running game, along with solid defense. Plant will likely not make the mistake of single covering James Robinson this year. That could provide an opening for AJ Davis to get a better start than he did in last years game. 
AJ Davis had 231 yards rushing and three TDs against Wiregrass Ranch last week.

Fletcher we had 3 starters out no excuse on out come that being said 3 starters out ment 3 out on O, D, and special teams. UC we where beating 23-7 half time had are worse  showing in game this year in second half you would of thought we were loosing first half since then we put teams away like we should of done them no excuse we lost and UC hasn't lost since and probly will win state again. Also I was just messing with broward on his comment if I wasn't a Fort white fan I would pick Madison to win as well by the way the have played this year that being said any given Friday anyone can loose and I  belive we can pull the upset off.

my point was that even though it was fort white with a roster of like 20-25 vs fletcher with a roster of around 60 that fletcher played poorly and probley would have lost if fort white didnt run out of gas on a team with far more depth and really fletcher should have lost that game

I know where huge underdogs but have faith we can win. If your  game was in Trenton I would pick you guys but going down to the muck wont be easy I see this as a close game.

I also have gotten proven wrong by fort white this year who proved they can contend and win or lose they have proven they a top quality 1a team But this is the Madison team who is on a rampage and I have a hard time believing fort white will be able to beat them but it @fort white so Maybe they can pull it out
 
I'm picking Madison but I hope you all can beat them as it would be a huge shift in the playoffs of 1a by knocking out the 1a favorite

Man Lincoln shit the bed!! They had me fooled. I should of known they always lose the big games. They can beat the bad teams but always lose vs the good ones
 
Columbia was struggling this year and at one point could of missed the playoffs.

lee comes into the game with a win streak that goes back since week 3 of the season and have not lost since week 1 against raines
 
Lee is coming off a win over leon 42-0 in their first home playoff game in 2 decades and has made most of their success thanks to their duel threat quarterback and a stingy defense who has kept them strong throughout the year

Since then, 8 game win streak.

2 of the 3 games were on the road...all 3 teams they lost to are 2nd round teams.  A little surprised I guess...

I think if Niceville was considered by most as "the best" panhandle team it was very slightly....
 
I don't know if "collapse" is a fair word....Their final 4 games were against quality teams.  They  beat a better than their 5-5 record Pine Forest team 27-14, they lost @ what we know is now a very good Crestview team 21-27, lost 28-42 to a very good Navarre team, and lost 28 - 35 @ very solid St. Augustine team.
They simply hit a stretch of teams in the final 3 games on their level or better and got beat. Two of the games on the road...  It happens.  

This will be repeater week for most teams. They will play the team they had to beat to be District champions in many games.

For the first time since 2011 we exit in the first round.
 
The game started bad for Apopka from the beginning when TC onside kicked it and recovered the kick to begin the game. With good field position they score quickly. On the ensuing kickoff they pooch it, Apopka fumbles it, and just like that they are in business again at our 43. They score again to take a 14-0 lead within the first 4 minutes of the game. For the rest of the first half, Apopka mounts a comeback and go into the break up 27-20. We proceed to get an interception in the third and take a 33-20 lead. TC cuts it to 33-27; we score again and go for two but get stopped and its 39-27 midway through the fourth quarter. After that, things go downhill quickly as TC scores off a big pass play, but has the extra point blocked, 39-33 Apopka. We get the ball, have a third and 4 but proceed to give up two delay of game penalties well within our half (SMH). Needless to say, we are forced to punt, and, TC scores again and gets the PAT. We had one more chance, as in the waning seconds, we drive all the way to their 22 only to get intercepted. The game ends with TC taking a knee. 
 
This was a bad end to a season which showed a lot of promise. I was not totally surprised, as in our last four regular season games, something did not look right. Apopka, when it gears up to go deep usually improves as the season progresses. For some reason we looked flat the last half of the season and was lucky to defeat Wekiva in a wild game. It is interesting to note that Wekiva also went down tonight to Winter Park, a team they beat 35-7 in the regular season. 
 
Timber Creek came to play, their coaches obviously had a plan, and they executed it well. Their QB was the best passer we faced all season and he burned us with a number of intermediate and long pass plays. Good luck to them the rest of the season!
