Floridaatlantic1 got a reaction from Dr. D in EXCLUSIVE: FHSAA Classification Task Force Committee proposes changes to classification system to help address competitive balance
The sit out a year role after a transfer was a good rule for both hs and college but it wont fly in the current climate. One lawsuit and they would cave.

Floridaatlantic1 got a reaction from Ray Icaza in EXCLUSIVE: FHSAA Classification Task Force Committee proposes changes to classification system to help address competitive balance
I told everyone that the metro suburb idea would not really help many teams except elite suburban ones. Committee is a joke. Promotion and demotion is only way to get true parity but elite teams will never go for it because they like their state rings and dont want to be challenged for them. We know that most elite teams recruit and should have to fight it out among the other cheaters. go by last 4 year average and bump top 15% up each year and bottom 15% down a year and you will get fair and balanced.

Yet another example of why all the cheater teams should be in the same class and let them beat each other up.

Floridaatlantic1 got a reaction from KeemD321 in The new playoff format was a disaster
Most districts are 40 per cent of schedule not 27%. It’s rare to have four team districts in monster metro big boy major leagues

The transfer rule idea makes sense but would be too hard to calculate. Promote and demotion would do the same thing where afyer four to six years. All the recruiting cheaters would be in top two divisions without people gaming the system of defining who is a a official recruit
-
Floridaatlantic1 got a reaction from gatorman-uf in New change
The promotion demotion plan would solve the issue without seeing a real number of transfers
-

Just promote top 15% of each divisions and drop lowest and you don’t have cheaters trying to cover up transfers number. It’s easier.

There really needs to be a running clock in regular season especially now that district matchups are so unfair in many games with new condensed 8 districts into four. I am fine with no running clock in playoffs

Only have one true state champ in elite divisions and call rest consolation division.

By the way. I know Lakeland and Benice can play with anyone. All the other suburban state champs get slaughtered by metro equivalent

The plan did not work at all. You had the same teams as always in the finals and the only new champion was lake wales who made the semis recently. It will be the same group of teams in the finals just like the past decade. No real difference. So all the games were not blow out. Same teams and you got a million blowouts during regular season so no state powers got crushed by plan.

Floridaatlantic1 got a reaction from VeniceIndianFan in Ranking the State Champs
Venice was an outlier and wanted to be in metro and petitioned and was denied. They knew suburb side is minor leagues. All the supporters whines that metro won 89% of trike so just using their reasoning. We wil get same teams winning all 9 divisions so new system helped about 12 teams I. Suburb to have a shot to win state instead of semis in old system. But tons of schools crammed into 4 divisions who don’t cheat get screwed in both suburb and metro which got us blowout festival in regular season.

How dare you people suggest a suburban team playong a big bad boy metro team. That’s blasphemy. We don’t need to have a tournament among both classes. We all know who would win. 89% of the state champs would be metro. 9 classifications is a joke. Wholes split idea devalued suburb champs and you can’t say the truth that I am right. We will keep this crappy regular season blowout festival and let those fake suburb champs claim a trophy again next year. MKe it a little smaller since it’s the minor league. By the way central wins state crown easily this year rest irrelevant

Lake wales loses to central by 28.
the suburban is the minor leagues and if they were able to compete with the metro than why make any change at all from old system. Oh that’s right those poor elite suburban teams only made the semis instead of getting a state champions b level trophy. Hope the state trophy was a little smaller for suburban joke league

Floridaatlantic1 got a reaction from h8r in Polk County Fun fact
One last fact. Lakeland was the biggest recruiters and cheaters and were busted which led to crazy state rep messing with the fhsaa and high schools. Just telling the truth here. Go Venice

Floridaatlantic1 got a reaction from h8r in Polk County Fun fact
Fun fact about PLOK county. Their state representative is what started this open enrollment crap that ruined hs sports with easy transfers. Another fun fact, they somehow got their county and lee put in the suburban when their population is bigger than other metro counties and pulled the old switcheroo between the first proposal and the one that actually passed to dodge st Thomas Aquinas and other metro teams. Screw them and I hope Venice beats them by thirty.
