You have the right mindset for the playoffs, especially playing a challenging schedule to keep upping your game as opposed to slaughtering "Have Nots".  It's better to lose early and keep getting better than have the kids  being told they are "All World" and not dealing properly with adversity.  Great positive outlook for the playoffs as opposed to talking about reasons you might lose prior to playing the game.  Go get them.

They're not scared to play STA or a Dillard in the playoffs. The offense is clicking right now. Seeing Western will be a good test for Miramar last week of the season.

Just curious, he won a state championship last year. They beat Hawthorne to win. Just to remind everyone. How did the mighty Cowboys of Madison do when they faced Hawthorne?

Look I know its fairly early but we are half way done with the season.  Any ranking that has Baker 6th in the state is a f$$$ing joke.  I think even Jessee might agree with me.

SubZero, not trying to hijack your thread or take anything away from the Miramar win (congrats on that) . . . but I gotta give Hallandale credit for finding a way to field a team and play games after everything they went through over the summer.  I'm guessing their team is comprised of the handful of guys who stuck it out and guys who rightfully should be playing JV this year.   In any event, kudos to their team for getting out there on Friday nights and competing.

That's exactly what he's saying, Jambun.   Clearly, the folks in the stands 200 feet away could see the play better than a back judge or side judge a few yards away, even with other fans, cheerleaders, players, coaches, photographers and the chain gang obscuring their view.   And then, after making the determination that the defender went out of bounds, the officials had the audacity to actually blow their whistles, to send a signal to everyone out on the field that the play was over (which may or may not have had anything to do with why the player who made the interception was able to continue into the end zone without much resistance). 
I wasn't there and I haven't seen film of the play, but it's pretty darn obvious to me that those refs just flat-out took that touchdown away from the kid -- they snatched it right out of his hands and off his highlight reel.   The horror!   Man, I hope those refs can live with themselves.

i told the folks on this board after we played you guys that your defense was gonna be a problem for a lot of folks, they’re big & aggressive, keep up the good work patriots. 

Refs took a touchdown away before halftime, but they did a good job early, and the defense held firm in protecting the lead till the offense woke up in the 3rd Qtr. You're right, Stranahan is not the same Stranahan that they will see, they got some nice talent on that team.

Congrats on a big win last night.  Should put you in the drivers seat for your district crown and Stranahan should be another good test before your remaining district games.  Those early tough games with Killian and Dillard should give you optimism for success on your remaining games.

Another one of the "smart" ideas done by the silly FHSAA. the RPI is not a bad idea, but how it's made up with the teams, and where they're ranked is a totally different story. 

They have a big game vs. North Miami this upcoming Friday. If they win. Most likely, they will make the playoffs as district winner.

Miramar is ranked at 87, but behind Fort Lauderdale. What is that. No way the Flying L's a better team than the Patriots. How is Doral Academy ahead of Apopka. No sense does it make.
