Notre Dame was a top 10 team last year.  That's why they were ranked high entering the season.  Also because they are Notre Dame.  Just like Texas is always over rated at the beginning of the year.  Also Alabama oh wait they are not over rated.

Sorry. I don't agree. If we're going off last season then it was baloney because there wasn't that many games to begin with last year. Plantation has fallen off, Cypress Bay is not the same. Stranahan has done nothing, and McArthur got blown off by Miramar last year. Deerfield seems to always choke in the post-season, but i guess we'll see not if covid-19 ruins everything. 

We can only hope that the worst is happening now, and that by mid to late September, Covid-19 will recede. If it lingers, then the season will be badly affected.

I personally would rather have the 11th game instead of the KOC. You already have Spring games and Spring Jamborees that don't count, so do you really need a KOC where coaches can empty the benches and you possibly get a few minutes or maybe a quarter to see your starters play. If the game doesn't count, why risk injury to your starters? Spring is the time for jamborees, play to win in the Fall.

Going with Maxpreps was an error. It has been years since that site had accurate, timely data on it. For the mistake of registering several years ago, I was inundated with spam in my primary email. 
As it is clear that CBS won't properly support it, they should shut it down. 

Academically superior students can't get fans to fill an 85,000 seat football stadium, and a million people won't pay for cable TV to watch them do their homework. Athletic scholarships for football and basketball players bring revenue to a university. I imagine that there are very few people who would pay to watch kids take a political science or sociology class. It's more important that these student athletes succeed in the classroom than on the football field. The education will hopefully enable them to secure a career that lasts 40 years and allows them to support a family and secure their future. .

The toughest district is whatever district that Aquinas is. Dillard is in there too. I only see Lakeland in 7A-5 & Manatee in 7A-11.

and trinity gets maybe two transfers each season .... soo idk what u are talking about 
Plus I was making a comparison of private schools everybody always say private school got big fancy facilities 
And trinity has non of that ... 
madison never moves from 1a the smallest weakest calls in Florida and u always bragging about them who cares 
moved up some classes and see if y’all are as relevant as u think y’all are!!!!
because when trinity moved up to 5a the first Season they were 2games from making it to state  their second Season in 5a they were 1 game from state and the year after that they might have had the toughest schedules in the whole state!!!

Central Florida is very good. You got Apopka who used to beat MNW a few years back. Dr. Phillips, Sanford Seminole, Cocoa, Edgewater, Orlando Jones, Mainland. West Orange. I know there's a few more, but you can add Armwood, Manatee, and Lakeland, and there's 11 teams for you right there. 

I don't see how you can come up with a top 20 statewide at this time. We don't even know what effect transfers will have have on many teams. Also, here in Central Florida, some teams were playing without key players, some that have transferred in and others not playing Spring games as a precaution to allow additional time for players to recover from injury. I attended the Jamboree between Apopka, Winter Park, and Dr Phillips and what I saw were three teams missing key pieces that more than likely would have had a major impact on the scrimmage. Apopka, missing transfer QB Andrew McClain from Seminole who had to sit out because of transfer rules, was one-dimensional on offense, throwing only two passes in three quarters of varsity play (2 quarters against DP and 1 quarter against WP). Winter Park was missing Terrance Gibbs, one of top RB's in the state as they held him out as a precaution to allow his ACL, injured last August, to continue to heal. DP was without their top OT who sat out the game. It was football and it was entertaining; but it wasn't regular season, Fall football. My guess is that Spring games across the state were played under similar conditions. It's too early to rank teams.

How the hell does every freaking thread become about some podunk community in North Florida... for the love of god, form your own thread and talk about them there. Otherwise, get the hell off this thread. Or at least contribute to a meaningful conversation. Repeating ad nauseam that your school is the best with zero proof. 

If you want to be the best, tell your principal/ad/coach/school board to stop ducking the competition that they should actually be in and go and play in it. Otherwise, except your participation trophy and shut up.

That’s true, but I didn’t mean to bury the lead by disrespecting Madison County’s program. I have a lot of respect for them, and although they don’t schedule the powerhouses I mentioned, they do play a somewhat tough schedule in their own right. It’s just Jesse that’s annoying me. He bad mouths other programs and says Madison could blow them away, when the reality is that they are a 1A school who plays well but does not have the talent to compete with these powerhouses. Thank you for your feedback Keem, you are a very insightful poster.

You act like Madison is the only small town/small school that has a winning history past and current. Plus madison isn't far from Tallahassee and they are the only school in their area so they don't have to worry about talent being spread to other schools.

maybe in your eyes but the school is the one that submits it's numbers and the county is the one that created the school and the FHSAA is the one that allows the numbers.  
 
In football if I have the ball and a lead I can jump offsides and keep the clock running.  You saw Belichick do it in the NFL a few times.  Is this poor character?  Nope it's using the rules to your advantage.   I'll take Mike Coe's character over most in this world.  Look I'm not a fan of douchebag Jessee and his Madison trash bull shit.  I'm not a fan Madison plays in 1A and has cost my school a few titles but I'll go to war with Mike Coe any day.  He's a good dude and good for kids.  Just my opinion.
