    I'll take IMG over Miami Central 49-13. Some may say that's a stupid pick, and that NOBODY beats Miami Central 49-13. But those folks don't know history :) I think that 49-13 score will be earned over 3-4 quarters, rather than arrived at after an easy running clock like tonight. It might be more like 21-6 at the half, and 35-6 or 35-13 after 3 quarters.

    Personally schools should stop scheduling IMG Academy

    Speaking of Seabreeze, their starting and 2nd string QBs both played tonight against each other for Merritt Island and Cocoa.

    Does Cocoa and Jones play each other this year

    observations - our defense is F’ing LEGIT! 9 sacks in total on tonight & they’re STR8 DAWGS up front. Miami Norland is very good and FAST! They’re Qb EJ is gonna cause defenses hell this year. 
     

    OFFENSE - they’re much bigger and faster , O-LINES looks vastly improved. Although you can tell this was their first game against another opponent since homestead. 
     

    left 14 points on the field. Our RB Johnson that man is gonna be a PROBLEM for defenses this year. Our game plan was very vanilla as expected this game was 28-7 when the starters was pulled.

    i knew vaguely about the MIAMI soul bowl , but I’m not from dade so I couldn’t tell you to much about it other then it’s between Jackson & northwestern. 
     

    so I really couldn’t tell you about any bowls or classics in north or central Florida cuz growing up that was the irrelevant part of Florida nobody down here cared lol hahahaha. 

    We still don't care about them lol but yeah Jacksonville has Raines/Ribault in the Northwest Classic game and Palm Beach has Pahokee/Glades Central in the Muck Bowl game

    Evans is in Orlando a black school and is Jones main rival but didn't become predominantly black until the 90's. They call their game the Soul Bowl and Evans people are feeling like they had the original Soul Bowl and why is Jones calling the Northwestern game Soul Bowl

    these two schools only met once in history which was 2019 in the state championship game. So yes I get the REVENGE factor & all that jazz.

    but to call it a soul bowl classic ? That makes no sense. Yes I know it’s two black schools, black bands & black fan base ; but with NO EXTENSIVE history between programs there’s no way this game could be called a “SOUL BOWL CLASSIC” who the hell even came up with this lol. @topnotch305 @cribboy305 @FBGUY1989

    They used to play every year if I'm not mistaken before integration. Remember black and white schools couldn't play against each other. As for it being called Soul Bowl unless it's going to continue every year it shouldn't be called that and I'm assuming you have some relation to Evans high because there not happy either

DILLARD & HOMESTEAD are the premiere teams in 3m along with jones. 

    Jones and Dillard in the state game would be epic. Both have good bands and both are historically black

The demographics of Jones are very similar to that of: Dillard, MNW, Miami Central, etc. For years they were average at football (kind of like Ely, Jackson, Edison, etc. have been recently) because they did not have a good coaching staff and, therefore, a lot of their talent went elsewhere. 

    Since Elijah Williams became head coach, they have kept their talent and gotten a few transfers to boot. Elijah is a very good football coach who has been able to get the team to step up a notch. Last year, Jones should have beaten Pine Forest as all they needed was the conversion of the extra point with seconds on the clock. Unfortunately, they had lost their kicker late in the season and the QB who had been kicking the PATs missed the point. Pine Forest ended up the winner in overtime. Note that Pine Forest probably should have beaten Jesuit in the title game after Jesuit had handled Northwestern comfortably in the other semifinal. Now last year is last year and this year is this year, so I am not using that to forecast the outcome of this game. 

    I do think Jones has a more dynamic offense this year that last. However, I am not sure about the quality of this year's defense. 

    Jones is 0-3 against South Florida competition the other being Booker T. Washington 

    2011 29-0

    2012 68-13
