Teams from Adjacent Counties Playing Each other for State Titles

This year's 3A matchup between Chaminade-Madonna and King's Academy will be the third time in FHSAA history that teams from Broward and Palm Beach counties will play each other for a state title.  As you'll see below, state title matchups involving teams from adjacent counties have been fairly rare, though they seem to be taking place more often in recent years.
