Christ, why can't we just go back to the late '90s when the district champ and runner-up got in. 6 classes, done. Before that, only district winners got in. Then they made a major change and added another round and let the runner-ups in and that was perfect. Best change they ever made and should have left it that way.

So how / why would separating private schools help? You're still going to have the same pro-bowl teams whooping everyone. And how does the FHSAA kiss Aquinas' behind? Like, what is going on?

I know our attendance looks awfully light. There was a time in the 90s when if we had a home playoff game, it was pretty darn crowded. Now the place is like half-empty. Even the band is like 1/4th the size it used to be. The magic is GONE.
