Our local "expert" for the Orlando Sentinel has made his predictions for the 4 teams from central Florida.  He has picked Lake Minneola, Edgewater and Seminole, with Seminole being the only one ranked first in their division.  Let's see how that works out as we already know unfortunately for LM it wasn't even close.

South Florida held serve today.  South Florida county AllStars way better than "other" county AllStars.

I know. I expected better. Overawed and difference in speed. Did not feel they could win. But thought they could score a couple. I like the QB (actually a receiver) Sanders. 

Well that didn't work out too well. Lol. Minneola was probably shell shocked. They're much better than they showed

I don't think Edgewater has a shot. For whatever reason, Jones blew out Edgewater and Jones was beaten pretty soundly by Jesuit. I would think that unless Edgewater is vastly improved since that game, STA wins by at least 21.
 
I love Minneola, but they have to keep scoring the whole game or Central will win. Tough to do against the Central D. I'll go out on a limb and pick Minneola 27-24.
 
Seminole looks like the class of 8A. They seem to have a better O than Osceola. I'd like to see Osceola win, but I'll pick Seminole 30-17.

For any team that wins a State Championship - No. 
For any team that was unable to compete in the playoffs - Yes. 
For any team that was able to compete in the playoffs, but lost - Maybe.

In today's Florida, it is very hard, in most classes, to win a state championship unless you recruit. Unless you win a state title, no one is going to recognize you as elite. 

Man they got you. Glades Central hasn't sniffed the top 100 nationally in years.

Ranked by who? I see on maxpreps they were ranked #19 in Florida before the loss.
