Haven’t heard anything yet. Just huge in state games against Chaminade and Lakeland

You sure it's Chaminade? I heard AHP. But if Chaminade is on the schedule too, that's great.

When I say official I’m talkin about from a rating aspect. Maxpreps calpreps etc. but at the end of the day it’s all opinion based.

any team or coaching staff can feel like they’re the best in the nation. Hell dillard can feel like they’re the best in the nation lol. But yeah man it’s all love & respect at the end of the day. Good luck on the rest of yall season.

Well Central did win HSFB.com national championship last season. And if you look on Maxpreps, that poll is used in their composite poll that takes the 7 or 8 national publications to average out rankings. So yes...rather you or anyone else feels that Central didn't win a share of the national championship last year. They did. Even if it was one poll. Sometimes all you need is one.

my opinion still stands even if y’all ran the table I don’t think it will be enough for central to capture their first natty. I still think mater dei , SFA & SJB all have overall schedules that is a tier above central schedule.

Your opinion is valid. Those schools do have better overall schedules than Central. My theory is first and foremost, Central would need to win all and win impressively. MD, SFA, SJB, IMG all would need to lose somewhere in the mix. Good thing here is that all these are linked to a game in someway with each other. Too many possible scenarios to try and figure out in July. But it's possible.

Do you think schools are scared to schedule Central. I think two OOS games would have been perfect or at least play IMG Academy again for this season.

I refuse to believe all schools in the state are scared to play MC. MC is somewhat of a brand now. I don't think they go after certain teams which dumb. Why not reach out to Orlando Boone, Edgewater, Apopka, etc. And then there's the issue of where's the game gonna be played.

Besides maxpreps, where can I get access to Florida high school football schedules for the 2023 season? It’s always like this. Mid July, season starts in a month and the schedules are nowhere to be found.

Georgia has almost as many teams as we do and they listed every single one in their state site back in April. The FHSAA is chapter 1 verse 1 series 1 in a book about incompetence

Totally agreed. Same crap every year.

Your argument is true, but the most pervasive issue when trying to crown any Florida team MNC is the West Coast Bias factor. You can't just squeak past Gorman, go 15-0 and expect those drooling fools from Maxpreps, Calpreps, etc. to crown someone not named Mater Dei or SJB National Champions. You have to beat Gorman by 17 or more to shake some sense into these people.

Trust me after what happened last year, you don't need to remind me ot the west coast bias. Thankfully MP is not the end all be all.

  7. Alot of things have to go in Central's favor for them to win the natty. VeniceIndiansFootball touched on some key things. But as a Central alum, fan, and someone who follows the program I'm concerned about them not having a week 1 game. Reason being there are so many key matchups week 0 and week 1. They could find themselves being jumped by STA(SJB), C-M(SFA), etc. before even playing BG. Depending on what poll you look at. Yes, they get to control their destiny with C-M because they play week 5, but what if STA runs the table and MD, SJB, IMG, SFA all lose then you have to compete with STA for the natty. But we will see.

St. Frances is playing the toughest schedule in the nation in 2023. If they go undefeated with Mater Dei, Saint John Bosco, Miami Central, Kahuku, and IMG on the schedule, it would be impossible to deny them the national championship.

You mean Chaminade Madonna, not Miami Central.

You showed your true agenda on the national board a few years ago. I will say one last thing and put you back where you belong.

As long as people like you are at places like MC they will always be C/D/F educated schools. "YOU" are the real problem, your ignorant ramblings just confirm that.

You run through those south Fla housing projects looking for 4-star athletes so you can beat your weak chest to the world. How about recruiting poor non athletes and creating an IB program? Where do all those 4.4 forty kids go where they can no longer score TDs due to injury? Can they come to you for a career job, or a foot inside the corporate world in Dade County?

Your clown act is a disservice to public school education.

    Yeah, I you're a lil stupid!

Your issue is with GSB, go argue with him. He's the one throwing your team under the bus.

Now if you are pissed because I don't think MC was the #1 team in the country last season, you can keep being pissed. 49-14 is enough for me and anyone with a centimeter of football knowledge to know that.

I don't have an issue with him. For you to make a post about a team that the team you follow has no history with clearly tells me and others you have a problem with MC. You sound like a lil Bill Castle fanboy! I don't care if or what you thought of MC last year, but they would have mopped the floor with your "Pork" County boys...that's for damn sure. And 49-14? Yeah, I can tell you just started following high school football. That's your best argument? Child please!!!

Nobody outside the state of FLA kisses Central butt more than GSB. His poll is the only one that placed them at #1 when the 2022 season ended, none of the more established polls did it, and with good reason.

Over the past weekend he continued to make the claim that MC refuses to play Mater Dei, even at home.

Why would one of their biggest fanboys continue saying that?

From your posts it's clear you have something against MC. I don't know why the game fell through, but I can assure you GSB's agenda is for self only and to make as much money as he can while making it seem like it's for the kids.

He was their biggest fan because they were supposedly his top schools to work with. He seems more upset that Central isn't privy to using his services.

As far as the polls not crowning Central it's basic knowledge that those polls had it determined that only MD and SJB were in the running to be crowned number 1 in those perspective polls as soon as the playoffs started unless they were both upset by lower teams.

Exactly! I had a conversation with MP Zack Poff and he clearly wouldn't budge on not crowning SJB or MD champions. It was already predetermined. I even suggested having co-champions. As for as GSB, I have several conversations with him and his agenda is to promote his OOS plan, and if a team isn't on board they are blackballed.

If we’re done arguing over who is smarter than whom, does anyone plan on discussing the original topic matter which entails the Mater Dei-Central game falling through? I certainly hope so.  Does anyone on here have any details beyond what myself, LakelandGator, FBGUY, etc. have already said?

They kill me when go off topic for posts and posts. There has been a lot of back and forth. I don't think we will ever really know.

We have a couple exciting games being floated around

     Miami norland playing SJB

    sta Vs sjb

CENTRAL VS CHAMINADE & MATER DEI. THEIR ALSO MAYBE A TEXAS SCHOOL ON THEIR. SFA TOO MAYBE IN THEIR TOO. come July we will see

Texas school huh? I just don't like having to wait until July. That doesn't give a whole lot of time for fans to make travel arrangements.

The fact that you have to ask what makes a poll credible is enough proof to me that you are a clown looking for entertainment. And then you conveniently avoid the "elephant in the room".(See below)

Is MC 49-14 better than Chaminade? <<<<<<---

Assclown please believe I wasn't asking, it was more so to get your opinion...Clown! I don't give a damn if MC is better than Chaminade. We will come up to Pork County and whip Lakeland's Candy Ass!!!
