Madison County has its own problem Friday night. 

What y'all think about this??
I mean last week Vero did have problems scoring in bunches against Ft Lauderdale and didn't put them away until the 4th qt......And on top of that, Vero plays them in the muck and most people say that place is a hard place to win in..... 
All in all I give Vero the game based off of coaching play or overall depth...
Sidenote, Vero usually struggles with black athletic teams 

Last year Pahokee had not played/practiced in about 2 weeks because of Hurricane Irma, leading to that game . Vero’s Dixson was too much. They don’t have him this year. 

Just don’t come in here with 100 excuses afterwards 

The Qb comes back this week, he's taller, has a cannon and is pin point accurate. Can't wait to see him friday!!!!

I was at the game last night and agree that if they played 10 times its likely a 5-5 split. Pahokee beat themselves last night with special teams. People were saying at the game the starting qb is really good and I think if they had him last night that would've changed everything as well. 

Washington got hurt on the kick off coverage team? He had no business being on kickoff coverage!

I’m hearing he should be back the Vero game. Washington, I don’t know. 

Pahokee looked impressive against a very good 8A football team. Looking forward to the Vero,Cocoa, and pb gardens games. It should get interesting when the starting qb comes back. 

I'm thinking Pahokee beats Atlantic if the starting Qb and starting Rb plays. Either way, they showed heart against a good 8a ball club. I think the one bad call where the kid clearly calls fair catch and the Atlantic player hits him and scopes and scores was huge for Atlantics victory. 

Halftime...Teams are evenly matched...3 Pahokee turnovers (2 muffed punts and 1 unintentional squib kick) have led to 21 Atlantic points.

Actually Pahokee and Atlantic met in 2015 in a kickoff classic in Delray Beach. Atlantic squeeked out a  7-0 win. But that was after 3 Pahokee touchdowns were called back for penalties.
Expect another classic 1A vs 8A show down.
 
 

This should be a great one.  Atlantic Delray has been quietly surging of late and I am not surprised they playing in this game as the 8A South dust is clearing.....   Many wrote Atlantic off after a slow start particularly offensively but this Atlantic team may have the athletes and team speed to slow down Miami High's loaded team.....
I wouldn't pencil in Miami High to Orlando yet...
 
 

Its obvious for the guys on this post that the Pahokee win was the biggest win in school history. LOL

Heck of a game. Madison was the better team tonight! These two teams will meet again. It sucks that both teams are in the same south bracket. Whoever wins the Baker/Blounstown game will have their hands full.

These two teams are among the best in the state yet they seem to do it with homegrown talent versus transfers and recruiting like some of the teams that I will leave unmentioned. If I am mistakened about this please correct me. However, I have never seen any postings or articles on either of these teams getting transfers in. Maybe transfers out. If Pahokee and Madison can do it why can't others?

That's the funny thing about it. They count Pahokee out every year.
It's almost like Pahokee doesn't even exist. I think Pinko has them losing by 20 to Madison.
That same Pinko picked Madison to beat Pahokee last year, and he picked Baker to slaughter Pahokee last year also.

In regards to 8A South, I would say 2016 Southridge was probably as good or better then anything going this year however, I feel the depth of 8A South is surely better this year, then last year - more very good teams.
I do like the mix this year in 8A South though
Miami High -  Lightning in a bottle offense, can they do it for two more games to Orlando ?
Columbus - Coolest cat of the bunch , not their first rodeo, probably should be the favorites to Orlando.
Atlantic -  Loaded with talent and trying to get over that Broward/Dade mountain.  Can they handle the pressure?  Is this finally the year?
Western - Have backed their hype and then then some.  Another road win in the playoffs , you might have to call this bunch a team of destiny!

Thanks for the correction! That may have been the only time all year that he picked Pahokee though. 
He had Treanton, Newberry, and Madison all winning big.
