The tired and old "tradition" of posters to the message board critiquing and commenting on the officiating has reared its ugly head already in week 1. Anybody who posts on a game that he/she attended or watched, and makes comments such as "the refs sucked" or "the refs cheated one team out of a win" should have the common decency to expand on these "observations" when asked to. If not, then please refrain from commenting on the officiating at all.

And hence why it is critical to get the headline and report correct. Relived of duties would imply fired, but the school district said relived of duties until further notice, implying the suspension as you said. Headlines are everything, because if the coach ends up being reinstated, he could go after those who implied he was fired. Journalism integrity is important.

I completely disagree with this but it is a separate topic.  In this case, innocent kids should have the right to transfer if their season is cancelled but the smarter thing to do is to not cancel the season.

To Everyone,
A new season is among us and I know this is going to be an active spot for football talk. However, what I will not tolerate is BLATANT DISREGARD for the Rules of the Forum which have been posted on here in current form since 2016 and just updated for color so people using any of the light or dark modes can see them more clearly. 
I just had to ban a longtime user from the forums and honestly I am sick of it. I ask you all to police yourselves and most of you all do, but the few of you have been thinking it is okay to get away with it and I am tired of it. If you want to bully others including forum posters, coaches, players, fans, etc., please go elsewhere. I am not letting a few people ruin it for the rest of us that want to talk high school football on one of the most active message boards anywhere in Florida.  If you want to cuss people, say things you wouldn't dare say in front of your mama, then please see your way out of here.
I want this place to be fun for all, but end of the day, what ever is said here ends up on me at the end of the day and I responsible for it. Enough is enough.

Been working on this for a while now and finally came up with a formula that I think will work in predicting games and ranking teams. It is strictly based upon the numbers. As we go through the season I will work on any tweaks as needed and see how the PRI as I will call it for short will perform. The contracts were up for both Gene Cox and DRV PNK. Based upon things... this will be for this year. Dates TBD it seems at the moment.

Alright folks, this is not a spot to compare people of who they are, etc against a former poster, etc regardless if they look similar, talk similar, etc. You don’t know who is behind the keyboard except that each person that posts here is a human. So please keep to the topics on all threads or take your thoughts to the off topic board which is the more appropriate place if it’s not on the topic about the thread. 
 
Also, Regarding SportsFan and ColumbiaFan being the same person, I checked the IP address of the accounts and I can verify that the IP address used on the accounts is not the same at all.

Also, note some schedules I had already and now they have changed due to the FHSAA deciding on a midcycle reclassification with less than 50 days out on at least one team and now is causing a domino effect.
