Who will win 5A-11?

Hardee, Southeast, and Booker are all on the top of 5A-11 with a 3-1 record in the district. Hardee upset Southeast 24-21 this past Friday after losing to Bayshore 8-7 the previous week in an upset. Southeast's and Booker's only district loss so far is against Hardee. Hardee will play DeSoto in the oldest high school football rivalry in Florida this upcoming Friday, while Booker & Southeast will battle it out.

Here are the scenarios:

1. Hardee wins the District if they beat DeSoto.

2. Southeast wins the District if they beat Booker and Hardee loses to DeSoto.

3. Booker wins the District if they beat Southeast and Hardee loses to DeSoto.

 

PS: There was a fight after the Hardee-Southeast game. It got so bad that cops had to get on the field. Both teams are blaming the other for starting it. The FHSAA will investigate. It will be interesting to see what the repercussions will be from that evening. Especially for Hardee since it was just the past baseball playoffs that they were involved in tussle at Lemon Bay. This will be 2nd incident for them in the past 6 months reported to the FHSAA.

Agree. Southeast will need to be ready for an improved Harmony team the last game of the season though. A loss there could put them on the edge of making it in.

Well.....since Southeast now has 6 players suspended for the next 4 weeks....that could change things, depending on who the players are.
