Weak schedules

Baker goes undefeated in Panhandle plays one of the weakest schedules in 1A.

yes they did but they did beat the #2 seed in their region by 14.  1A North is not good and whatever team gets to the state title will will get hammered by Madison, Dixie County or Pahokee.

according to laz index their SOS in 1A was 24 out of 34 teams before last nights games.

Just saying Baker is real close to Pensacola but choose to play this real soft schedule.

are there 1A schools in Pensacola?  who should they have played Pensacola Catholic 3A 2-7?  everyone else is much larger

I think their are some good teams in 1A north Blountstown and Port St.Joe both played tough schedules.

looking at their schedule which I just did for the first time I don't have a real problem with it other than 2 teams.  Rocky bayou and Snook Christian.  They played Holmes County 7-3, Chipley 8-2, Vernon 4-5 rivalry, Jay 6-4 rilvary, Rutherford 4A school, South Walton, Northview and Graceville all made the playoffs last year but had down years.

I think Blountstown and Baker will meet in the state semi's and it would be at baker but I would probably lean toward Blountstown in a close one.  Can't count out Port St Joe either.

Is it their fault that South Walton, Northview and Graceville all decided to suck after making the playoffs last year?

Everybody pretty much had new schedules this yr because of the new system.I think Baker knew SW,NV and GV would be down.

B-town beat PSJ 3-0 kicking a fieldgoal with seconds to go don't know if Baker can play with either one of these teams.

That is the problem scheduling in the panhandle 1A and 4A , there are only a few teams that are consistently good. Baker, Blountstown and Port St Joe (and until last year Liberty Co) the rest of 1A and all of the 4A are so up and down you never know how they will be year to year.

Baker is always well coached and solid but in the past has trouble with fast teams .

Just wondering if you are Baker why not play up at least one or two play a couple schools from Pensacola or maybe FWB or somebody in Okaloosa County.

They played a couple games out of class Rutherford and South Walton don't think they have been tested at all.

Baker has a big stadium that is always packed they pay small schools very well to go play them there.  I think that maybe their fans like supporting a winner and when you can go 9-1 or 10-0 every regular season and get at least 2 home playoff games and have 5000+  butts in the seats you keep doing what you're doing.  They have won some championships.
