Is Orland Evans independent or in a district this year?

They are now listed as freelance in their maxpreps schedule but they were in 4M-2 last year.  However, if you look at their 2023 schedule it is still tough and has some district games flagged so I'm not sure if they really are freelance or that was just a typo?

As of today on the FHSAA website, they are still listed in 4M, Region 1, District 2 just like last year.  It is an extremely tough district which includes Sanford Seminole, Lake Mary, Apopka and Lake Brantley plus Evans.

Evans is still in a district. There are some issues that happen this time of year it seems with the system communicating between the FHSAA, Home Campus, and MaxPreps. I would not rely strictly on MaxPreps for current info on districts.
