From following your posts, Central seems to give up way too many penalties. Aside from that, they are as advertised. Close game. It also lends support to Dillard being on the up holding BTW to zero in the second half.

I agree can't wait to respond tomorrow against our first unranked opponent even tho we are still predicted to lose by some

If Dillard loses to Western it is because they find a way to give it away. I have a hard time believing Western is as talented.

Exactly!!! It's easy to look good vs subpar competition if anything playing to national teams back to back and the showing we gave especially defensively that should be more of a impressive look

Thanks Panther for the updates. From your posts both teams seem pretty evenly matched. Not unlike the two games a few years ago that BTW pulled on the last play or so. This one could've ended like those others. Ice still the man

Right but seeing this game and looking at how we played booker t last week impresses me even more with Dillard's defense not many can slow booker t down and when u think of teams in south Florida that could I'm sure Dillard wouldn't have came up in any ones mouth so to hold them to 21 points offensively and to zero points the entire second half that's impressive

Flanagan players and coaches walked right past us going into the stadium tonight and appeared completely flat to a man,  including coaches.  No tension, no fidgeting, no fire in the eyes, just an easy stroll, in complete silence.  Pregame warmups - drills looked like they were just going thru the motions.  Flanagan dressed 62 players.

Once the whistle blew, it was like a track meet all night.  Coulda been a bit worse than 62-0 at the half imo.
