Umm you have Ohio State at 2 even after the loss to Oklahoma by double digits last night?

must be a FSU fan.  They just lost to NC State.  and 7 ACC teams?

Yes i am but looking on outside of top 25 i didn't see too many making a good enough case so i went with 2 acc teams with potential but both will have a chance to prove themselves

Who would you have in your top 25

my bad 8 ACC teams even worse.  They were the best conference last year.  Not sure this year too early still.  UCF, Miss St, ND just to name a few.  It is one thing to be a homer but if you are going to make rankings at least be partial to and not biased.  It is hard to take your rankings serious when you continue to be a homer.

Miss state got the win over LSU which would have had them in top 25 then got pounded by Georgia

Not sold on Notre Dame or ucf yet

I considered keeping Stanford in there but decided not to

Florida would have gotten consideration if they could have even seperated themselves a bit in those 2 wins, I'm not even sold they win this week

Idc about acc as a whole but more of I'm not impressed by a lot of these teams on the outside of my top 25 but these rankings i forgot to do last week so they didn't turn out as well as i wanted to, I'm sure they will be better next week when i have a fluid week to week setup instead of having to adjust for 2 weeks of play in 1 ranking

so FSU scrapes by Wake and they jump 4 spots.  Wasn't hard to guess your favorite team.

Lsu and Minnesota both dropped out of top 25

West Virginia and nc state from what i searched didn't play so yes fsu who is a very talented team jumped

I had justification for moving them past every team they jumped this week lol

    • Dillard - I'm not sure that hiring a HS football coach is the same as bringing a student on board the team. I think that any school can hire any football coach that they want any time they want. They can even hire a football coach that is currently coaching at another school. Where did you find that it's illegal?
    • IMO the FHSAA should simply return to the previous rules that if a student transfers from one school district to another they would be allowed to in accordance with Florida law. However, that student could only transfer for academic reasons and would have to remain out of sports for the first full season of that particular sport. As I understand it, when the Florida Legislature passed the law that allowed students to transfer anywhere and at anytime they had academics in mind. It was a law that allowed students to transfer from a poor performing school academically to a good performing school academically and not for the explicit purpose of playing a game. I wonder if the Florida Legislature fully understands what happens when students are allowed to transfer explicitly for sports and how some of those transfers seriously disturb the natural flow of events with the sports team of those schools. To make matters worse they are now proposing that some high school students, that just happen to be good at playing a game, be paid for their participation. Truly amazing.
    • In the words of Chris Rainey...
    • Independent contractors....   What will go wrong with this?
    • I seriously can't remember how many times I had to do that very thing. Like Nolebull said in another discussion, the kids know kids from other schools and where the "hot hand" is. I never entertained discussions with kids or parents of kids from other schools. I know we lost some good ones because of it but I am ok with that.
