Top Defenses in FL so far

Noticed that Oxbridge has combined point totals of 209 - 7 in five games against FL teams this year.  And 222 - 21 in six games counting their KOC loss against Pennsylvania power Archbishop Wood.

Carol City also held opponents to about 22 points,   against six FL teams.  That's givin up an avg of 3.6 pts per game.

Be interested to hear of other teams with tough D this year,   whether measured by points,  yards allowed,  vs pass or run,  plain ole dog-pound toughness,  etc  .... particularly for those schools playin top quality teams.

Cocoa has allowed 73 points in 7 games against some pretty good offenses.

Bartram Trail averaged 41 ppg before playing Cocoa, they scored 21.

Viera averages 31ppg w/o the Cocoa score, they scored 17.

Aquinas no question IMO.   Others that are great...MNW, Carol City, and AHP.

Viera, best 4 under the radar linebackers in Florida.  1 mid-major commit.  Cocoa scored in final 2 minutes, however to be honest their 2nd 1/2 of year opp. are weak.

What is cocoa playing Merritt island? U can't get much weaker then them

Cancelled game against Kiss Osceola would of been a great gauge of where defense is and how dominant they can be. They have a great starting 11, just not a lot of quality depth.

Tiger86, what are you talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Your input made no sense.  Cocoa would beat MI by 50 this year and so would Viera. It has to do with defense and Viera has 4 dudes that are as good as it gets; Miami, Tampa, Jax, Orlando, Texas, DC schools - the boys can play.
