USchool Offensive Coordinator Resigns

Interesting story here....this is what I got from a very reliable source:

A dad/coach (Mike Irizzary) on the USchool staff was pressuring the Offensive Coordinator to play and target his son (Jordan Irizzary) who plays receiver. The son was a starter last season, got hurt in the KOC vs. Heritage and lost his job to 2 better/younger players. The dad was complaining about his son losing scholarship opportunities and could care less about the program, their record or the 50+ per game the offense was averaging without his kid in the lineup. Arguments between the 2 ensued and it reached a breaking point.

This all went to the Head Coach (Dan Luque) and he did not have the back of his OC and sided with the dad. The OC basically told Luque to kiss his ass and immediately resigned. 

The new Offensive Coordinator is....yes you guessed it....Mike Irizzary. 

What a circus and what awful leadership by Dan Luque. This is how people lose their jobs.

The idea of going to a college prep school used to be to get college academic scholarships.   Athletic scholarships were icing on the cake.  University has already collapsed once.  Will not be surprised when/if it happens again.

They're playing one of the hotter teams in Florida this week in American Heritage Delray. Curious how this impacts the game.
